We always attend the early service when we are on the island. The beautiful wooden floors, ocean breezes sooth the soul. The service is done in Hawaiian and English. The Pastors reflections are always poignant and inspiring.

This stone built church is very nice and popular to people on Sunday mornings. Service are at 7 and 10 AM and they have light refreshments after the service. A very friendly Christian church. They have anew choir director who also plays the organ and a lady who can hammer out the hymns on the grand piano.

This historic 185 year old church offers good music, fellowship and a service in Hawaiian and English. It is a very welcoming church in a very scenic location in South Maui.

A welcoming Congregational church on the water in Makena. A friendly place . Music and prayers in both Englis and Hawaiian. Service is about an hour with an aloha hour after. It is small. Get there early for seat.

We visited this 100 year-old church on Sunday morning. Very laid back and friendly. Songs sung in English and in Hawaiian. If you're in a hurry go elsewhere. Service lasts an hour and a half. But worship is sincere and heartfelt. Service began with conch shell blowing. Each visitor is acknowledged.

Beautiful setting, so peaceful and calming! Just the historical significance alone should draw visitors, but if you have time to attend the service the experience is well worth it!

Take a half hour to visit this charming church and graveyard in Makena. The grounds are immaculate and the site is very interesting. Reading the tombstones gives a real sense of history.
