BEWARE a few tables are not shaded, have you staring at the sun for 2hrs to see performance, no vendors or flower leis
Apr 2021 • Couples
BEWARE.. There are 2 tables that look directly into the setting sun. They have full sun for 2+ hours and make it impossible to see the performers as you cannot look any way but to them to view the show and behind them this huge setting sun so you only see black shadows. All other tables were shaded as the sun set. Reminded me of always being told never stare into the sun or it will damage your eyes. There were no vendors or flower leis as advertised or shown in the pictures. We got nut leis that heated up so hot in the sun they burnt us and we had to remove them. The kid taking the pictures was pretty rude when I refused to purchase 2 portraits instead of just 1 and told is " You should just go sit down and enjoy the show it cant be that bad." I replied " I do want to see it but I invite you to go sit in our chairs and try and see anyone up there, and if you do you have to use your hands to shade your eyes on a full circle and squint ."
We left at 6:40pm during after dinner intermission as the show hadnt even begun and we were seeking shade. Our cold food heated up within 10mins of sitting on the table. Our ice cubed water was warm in 30 mins of sitting. We asked if we could move our chairs into the shade away from anyone and were told no we needed to remain seated at our own table.

I expected more from Marriot than to put customers health at risk by having them stare into the sun and not let them move into the shade when requested. If you can get a seat in the shade I imagine this would be a great experience, but you can't request it prior or worse when you arrive. What we did see when we were standing in the shade was nice.

Don’t Have To Pay To Ser
Apr 2021 • Couples
My husband and I had a good time at this event. There is no special seating necessary to see the show. As a matter of fact there were folks behind us sitting on the lawn that didn’t pay. Had I known we could do this, Ruth Chris take out on the lawn would have been a better use of $350. The food they served was okay. It was family style and there was a lot of it.

So much fun!
Mar 2021 • Couples
There was a lot to love about this luau. Each family unit had their own table and were served family style (due to Covid). They brought SO much food! And if you liked something and wanted more, they’d bring you that too. All of it was delicious. Plus the open bar was available all night. The show itself was very good. They had to make a lot of adjustments with Covid, making all the performances, demonstrations, etc up on the stage, but it was well done. I loved being able to watch the sun set behind the stage, the weather was perfect. We actually walked over from the Four Seasons, and it was an easy walk. We’d go again!

Best luau
Mar 2021 • Family
This was our 4th luau over the years and across 3 different Hawaiian islands and this was our favorite. Fantastic, friendly service. Wonderful show. Beautiful setting. Good enough food and drinks. Nice that they had regular breaks between sets to keep my 4 year old engaged. Highly recommend.

Great Luau
Mar 2021 • Couples
A great evening. We did preferred seating and had our own table near the stage with a perfect view of the stage. The food was delicious and was delivered to the table timely. Service was excellent. There is an open bar included. The show was great but maybe a little long for youngsters.

Wonderful evening!
Jan 2021
We loved this luau experience! The food was plentiful and delicious. My favorite dessert was the guava cake. The dinner didn't just include roast pig. A variety of local meats and delicacies were served. It was truly a feast. The show was just wonderful and quite long. It really enhanced the value to experience so much of the Polynesian culture.

Not worth the money
Dec 2020 • Family
Paid over $900 for 5 people and expected higher quality. Food was served cold. Beef and fish were over cooked. Food not impressive at all. Don’t waste the money. Try another venue.

Great Luau!
Feb 2020
We had a really time good time at this Luau (not just because there was an open bar)! We have been to a few Luau's before, but I think this one was our favorite. They had lots of fun activities for before dinner, they had really, really great mai tai's, the buffet was plentiful and delicious (plus you get to watch them take the pig out of the emu), and the show was spectacular! We really had a great time!

Awesome Luau!
Mar 2020
This was my fiance's first luau and it didn't disappoint! Staff was stationed among the path to point us in the right direction of the luau which was very helpful since the hotel is huge. Everyone was very nice and polite. It was a relaxed atmosphere with delicious buffet style food. The performers were so talented! We especially loved the background story to every dance. And the fire dancers were just awesome. Highly recommend!
