I played the Wialea Old Blue Course during a recent stay in Wailea. Old Blue is reasonably priced ($90.00 in the afternoon) and located near the resorts in Wialea. The course was in very good shape when I played. The fairways are the most forgiving...More

I recently golfed at the Wailea Old Blue Course. Well set up course in very good condition. Enjoyed the layout. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Enjoyable day on the course. A good course without being overly demanding for a mid handicap golfer.

We had a discounted rate due to the Makena course being closed. Friendly staff pointed us in the right direction and off we went with apparently nobody around us. That changed very quickly once the twilight rate kicked in and the course got quite busy....More

Ole' Blue is a very nice course, well maintained. Lots of fantastic views from many of the holes. The price is not formidable as at other courses in the area plus I had a discounted round as well. The 1 thing missing is the driving...More

Like the proximity to home, the local twilight rate, the wide fairways! Hardly ever lose balls here. : ) Dislike the gnats and heat in the summer time! LIke Mulligan's for a cold beer after!

This is first course I have played in Hawaii, but compared to mainland standards you just can't beat the views. The course was in great condition. Lots of interesting birds. I found the holes very interesting. The 18th hole is a par 3 which is...More

It was great tee'ing off with the mountain on your left and the ocean on you right. The hire clubs were of good quality and the course was in pristine condition.

I've never golfed in Hawaii before, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but having the ocean air and the view while swinging the sticks...doesn't get much better...

When you are a beginner, it is hard to golf with someone much better. This course has it all- great views, very wide forginning fairways, especially for the forward tees. Go out and enjoy yourself and then get go shopping in the pro shop for...More

If you play after 2:00 rates were usually less. Fall rates may be less than summer. I think we paid $60-70 per round with a cart.

I was there in September and there was no construction or rework going on. I have members who have been playing there the last couple of months. Are you getting Wailae Blue confused with the work going on at Makena Golf... More
