As a diver who has experienced Fiji, Vanuatu, New Zealand, Colombia, Belize, Mexico, etc I was really impressed by the snorkeling we experienced on this trip. Especially in comparison to the highly over-rated Molokini Crater snorkel. This was a million times better quality. If you have to choose between the two, do this instead. The crater was a tourist trap... More

We loved this. Captain Sage was great. He comes from a family of ocean people and they date back to the early settlers. We really wanted to experience the culture of Hawaii and this was it. Being on a Hawaiian sailing canoe that the Hawaiians used back in the day was very educational and the thrill of a lifetime. We... More

Donnie and Dave welcomed us on the trip like we were old friends. Professional, knowledgable and we saw whales, turtles, fish and more. Incredible. Will do again!

This was by far our favorite excursion on our trip. Sage and Dave crewed the boat and kept us entertained. They got us out to where whales were surfacing and we saw about 3 different sets of them come up multiple times. Then we went closer to shore and snorkeled, seeing turtles, octopus, and lots of interesting fish. Well worth... More

Donnie and Dave went above and beyond! They made everyone feel comfortable and took us on an incredible sail/snorkel trip. Donnie even made us dinner reservations! We sailed with our party of 9 & EVERY person said it was their favorite part of our vacation!

This was such an incredible experience, hands down one of the best activities we did in Hawaii! Donnie and Sage were amazing guides, taking us through some of the coolest reefs around Maui. The snorkeling was fantastic and the reefs were teeming with all sorts of life. We swam right alongside giant majestic sea turtles, schools of fish, and other... More

We love love this outfit ! Need we say more ? The folks running this outfit is family to us ! Every year this is our one splurge activity! The outrigger is simply beautiful as its being paddled out and the sails are raised ! We sailed out of the area and dropped anchor then geared up to snorkel the... More

Our #1 thing to do on our list when we visit Maui. We always make time to sail with Don and Nathan. They have become part of our Maui family! This is the 6th time we have sailed with Maui sailing canoe. There is nothing better than snorkeling with these two. both make you feel comfortable and will stay with... More

This was a fantastic time. Donny and Jacob made it so fun and relaxed for us, while always aware of our safety. They absolutely understand middle school boys. The service in Wailea has been superb everywhere, but this crew felt the most authentic. This was absolutely the most fun, best managed time we had during our 10 day trip to... More

My wife and I sailed on the Hina five years ago the last time we were on Maui and enjoyed it so much we did it again this trip. We had a great time. We were lucky enough to be the only two guests on the trip. (At most the boat can carry 6 guests.). The weather was perfect. Donnie... More
