We stayed in Ilulissat for 3 nights and the massive icebergs from the Icefjord were sitting right in front of us. We then took a helicopter trip up the Icefjord to the glacier and it was a simply stunning experience, given the scale of glacier,...More

The Icefjord has been on my personal bucket list, and I was not disappointed. The sunset among the suncolored iceberg was amazing. Lots of photoopportumities and the humpbacks made a show for us. It only takes 2½ hours and it was worth every minute of...More

Amazing experience to view these iceberg that have calved from the glacier and travelled 70km downstream where they run aground. Book the tour to sail amongst the icebergs - incredible experience

we walked from the harbor through town to the head of the boardwalk (it's quite a long mostly uphill walk and you deal with lots of traffic. One wonders where the cars are going?) That part of the walk isn't too scenic but once you...More

This is one of an adventure of a lifetime! Spectacular views after one has reached the fjord crossing the world heritage site over a wooden path. Climb the mountains around but beware: if the iceberg does calve that creates a 20m tsunami which might spill...More

Whether seen from the shore, at the high point of the shorter yellow trail at Pitoqqiq or at Seqinniarfik on the longer blue trail, or from a boat cruise to the ice front, the scenery is spectacular. The still blue waters and white ice in...More

I am not sure which boat you will be on, but it could be a fisherman's boat. When we were there we had to climb down a latter to get on board. So it could be a bit tricky for you.
