About
Gozalandia waterfalls, also known as Charca de la Leche, are a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. With their milky appearance and lush green surroundings, the waterfalls are a picturesque sight. The natural pools formed by the waterfalls are perfect for taking a dip, swimming with small fishes, and enjoying the summer heat. Kids will love jumping off the boulders and trying out the rope swing, while younger children can safely play in the shallow areas of the pools. Don't forget to check out the small underwater cave too. You can visit the waterfalls on a full-day tour from San Juan. – Tripadvisor

Beautiful waterfall for swimming and relaxing.
The Gozalandia Falls are beautiful! We have been to Puerto Rico twice and have visited the falls both times. The hike to the falls is not very far-probably 1/2 mile, maybe not that far, but lots of stairs. My daughter and grandson jumped off the falls like the locals. I just swam in the water at the bottom of the falls. Very relaxing, beautiful place to visit. They have a restroom and a restaurant by a pond at the parking lot. They charged $10 for parking, I think. I thought it was worth it.

    Refreshing and Wonderful Waterfall
Recommend to show up right at the time of opening. This will alleviate the crowds, good parking and the opportunity to take your pictures and videos without waiting on people to move out the way. Spend about an hour in the first Waterfall. Once it starts getting crowded , walk up to the next waterfall. The water is COLD but your body will get to it.

    Family fun and delicious food
My family had a great time at Gozalandia. For us, it was the most enjoyable waterfall in PR. Lots of spots to jump in the water as well as to relax. Also, the restaurant was really good, both food and drinks were delicious at reasonable prices.

    Good experience
Unfortunately when we visited there had not been much rain so the waterfals were slow and not a beautiful as in some pictures. We still found it to be worth the walk. There were many stairs and upward inclines to get to the falls and you had to walk over rocks to get the "pool" area. I would not recommend this for mobility impaired folks or those who are unfit. The enitre way to the falls was paved and I would imagine got pretty slick after rain. There are a couple of overlooks for viewing one of the falls with a bench for sitting if you have some in your party that want to partake, but are unable to do all of the stairs and inclines. The water at the falls was brisk and the bottom rocky so water shoes would be good. Overall a good half day venture.

    Exploring Puerto Rico.
This natural attraction in Puerto Rico is absolutely beautiful. There are two waterfalls and both compliment each other. The lower falls is a shorter walk approximately 4 minutes. The upper falls is approximately 9 minutes. E Both are easy up get to and feel amazing to swim in. This is a must do.

    Beautiful
This place is so pretty! Met lots of other families and my son had a lot of fun swimming and jumping from the waterfall. I will say there is quite a few people smoking pot there. We avoided it by sitting away from them and the people doing it normally are sitting towards the back of the falls. However, the smell does permeate if you are with children.

This waterfall was absolutely gorgeous. The waterfall looks like it would be something in a movie. It was located about ninety (90) minutes from San Juan. There are stairs to take people down to the waterfall’s floor. There are also bathrooms and a restaurant. The water gets deeper as one gets closer to the actual waterfall. There are many rocks, so one should wear socks or water shoes. It is really slippery, so it is unwise for one to walk around the waterfall in flip-flops or in bare feet. I was able to jump into the water from above a rock formation, and I got up to the top by a rope! Please note that the water is cold.

The falls are pretty accessible for older folks and children there is a a overlook and a 10minutes hike to the second fall. You can swim in both of the falls. The first falls have a lot of fish in it. There is a $10 per car fee but if you eat at the restaurant the fee is refundable with restaurant receipt. The falls are beautiful there are two of them.

We came right after a rain storm, so we weren't able to swim in it, and the water was brown, rather than clear, because of the rushing waters churning up so much dirt, but it was still nice to see the waterfall(just because I love waterfalls), and also to take the short walk along the river up to the smaller waterfall where there is a rope swing (which we didn't get to do), and view that falls. There's $10 parking right by the falls. It's a little hard to get to: small REALLY narrow, windy, and HILLY roads! That was an adventure in itself. So basically, we paid $10 to view waterfalls along a short, easy paved trail, but it was still nice outing, we probably spent only an hour there. If we were able to swim, I'm sure we would've stayed for hours.

I'm so glad we visited this waterfall when we were in Rincon. We rented a car for our trip and decided the check it out. It was a small fee to see something really beautiful and special. There were other people there, but it was not too crowded. Be careful, the rocks are slippery when you get to the water. I recommend climbing up the waterfall, walking behind it and jumping into the water.

Even with a lot of other places closed or limited by Covid restrictions, this place wasn't at all. As others have noted, there's a $10 charge per car. The cafe is open, and so are the clean bathrooms. Easy walk of a half mile or less up to the upper fall, with a smaller swimming hole, and the jungle surrounding you is beautiful and peaceful - at least on a weekday. I didn't swim in that one, as there was more of a scramble over rocks, but I did enjoy the lower fall and the large pool there. It was easy to walk in and swim out to the deep water. So nice and cool/cold! There is a good number of stairs or a steep grade (depending on the path you take), but it wasn't slippery.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! It took us a little bit to get there coming from the Aguada/Rincon area but it was worth it. Do not use the coordinates given on Trip Advisor to get to the falls. You will get lost!! We put “Cascada Gozalandia” in google maps instead and got back on track. The roads were a little rough for our small compact rental. I suggest going earlier in the day. We got there at about 11 and there were only a few groups of people by the time we left several van loads of people had come. As a waterfall enthusiast I must say this has to be the most breathtaking I’ve seen. These photos will forever be some of my favorites.

This was sooo beautiful 😍 even with falling straight on my ass I stayed and continued to have such a great time. I would warn you to wear footwear don't attempt barefoot although many have. I just found wearing footwear prevented me from falling twice slippery. There was a man I refer to as Tarzan jumped from top of water fall and was jumping from all areas of the water fall.

Beautiful, beautiful setting and great swimming opportunity. I have seen a number of waterfalls in my lifetime (Mexico, Ecuador and Victoria Falls) and while this was not the biggest, the ability to get right in and swim in the waterfall was amazing. Also, if you go to the upper swimming hole, the erosion of the karst is just gorgeous. I felt like I was swimming in a secret fairy pool or something. The market in town on Friday is also a must-see.

Two beautiful spots a short hike from the parking lot. Spend half an hour or a whole day there. There's a restaurant / bar at the parking lot. I recommend trying to go when no one else is there (weekday early morning or late afternoon)
