Great day of golf

What a gem! My wife and I were camping in the area and wanted to play a round of golf. (we are both hackers). We found Indian Hills, the young man who manages the place was most accommodating in changing our team time, advised us appropriately and was very friendly. He made the experience a great one. The course is well maintained, we were totally impressed.

Prettiest Golf Course

Beautiful, well maintained course. Very challenging holes for the weekend golfer.
Best prices on Wednesdays for seniors. Course is always clean and exceptionally maintained.
Good clubhouse food, especially breakfast.
Enjoy.

Great Variety

A challenging and fun course with a wide range of variety in hole layouts. It was in very good condition and enjoyable to play. Some holes require care in course management and shot selection while other offer broad fairways. Greens were in great shape. Offers a change from the wide range of relatively flat courses in Southwestern Ontario.

The course has undulating terrain, so it would be a challenge for someone who has difficulty walking as some areas of the course are not accessible by golf cart. Most holes are close together which makes it a walkable course, however the variation in terrain would make walking a workout.

On-site is a snack bar which is accessible between the 9th and 10th holes as well as before and after a round of golf.

Great course but marshalls way too aggressive.

The course was great . No complaints there. Problem was a aggressive marshall that hounded us for a good part of our 4 hours out on the course. At hole 3 he told us we were 4 holes behind and if we didn't step it up we would lose a hole?? Really!! We were not waiting for the group in front of us or the group behind us wasn't waiting either. The guy was an i---t! Never ever have had a marshall approach paying golfers in this fashion. Nice course but will drop my $60 to $70 in other courses in the area.
Owner might want to "mentor" his marshalls who probably are working for golf.

Decent Course

Played a round as part of a golf weekend in the Lambton area. We were off early at 7am, the round was completed in 4 hours, the greens were in good condition - held approach shot and green speed was average. This was second time playing the course which helped as there are some blind shots that the experience helps with. Every cart was equipped with a yardage book. Would recommend using a GPS device to assist with distances. Rough was pretty thick making shots off the fairway hard to find. Mosquito's were terrible - bring bug spray!!!

I have been playing here for 40+ years. Great layout. Great greens. Current owners have improved the fairways and overall conditions!
Clubhouse is very basic. Food is simple but generally well prepared.

Hidden golf gem southwestern ontario

Outstanding layout and well maintained, for mid to low handicap play the tips, makes for a great challenge. A+ greens. Great value for $. From the tips #11 is one of the prettiest golf holes you will see anywhere. Good pace of play, often under 3.5 hours unless prime time weekends. Friendly staff. Switched to this club from private city course and loving it.

very good 18-hole course

Played this course in June 2012 when traveling through Canada from Buffalo area to home in Michigan. An 18-hole course measuring 6539-yards from the tips (gold) with a rating of 72.2/133. Blue tees - 6072-yards witha rating of 70.1/128 and white tees - 5611-yards with a rating of 68.2/125. A challenging course that was fun to play.
