Decided to take a hike and visit the trail. Spectacular. Well maintained. Felt safe. Could look out over the river looking down from the the huge bridge for hours.

The monument to the founder of Goderich is a hidden gem off of the beaten path. Follow the signs on the north side of the Maitland river to the tomb of Tiger Dunlop and enjoy the view of the Maitland river on the way.

This is a scenic trail starting over an old CPR bridge. It follows the Maitland with lots of trees for shade. Would recommend it for all.

This is a great trail as you can really hoof it the whole way, or just stroll in and over the Maitland and back as a leisure walk. Trails on the far side of the bridge go up the escarpment so are somewhat steep but...More

A great way to re-use an old rail line. The bridge offers a great vista on both sides. Check out the anglers below wading for the carp and trout. It's an easy hike in the country.
