We went to Calabogie mid January and found that the skiing was good. The people serving at the rental place were great (most were Australian, surprisingly). When we went to get food and refreshments afterward, the prices were high, as one would expect, but you could not get water in the cafeteria. The water taps in the bathrooms were all... More

Worst Ski hill I've ever been to. I've never left there saying "WOW! What a great day skiing!" More like" WOW! This place is dangerous! I should have brought my skates". Lifts and lodge are always ridiculous busy. Runs are narrow and icy. Saying the runs are poorly marked is an understatement and I've seen bigger ski resorts get more... More

Hill was in good shape. It was very busy that day, but they handled it well. The pool and hottub are very nice

Spent a couple of days there and loved it! Interesting, varied terrain with lots of little hits and no lift lines. Stayed in the First Tracks room directly at the bottom of the hill with super convenient ski-in/ski-out access. The bar above the main lodge has great local craft beer on tap with big windows overlooking the hill. The outdoor... More

We booked Snowboard lessons for my son and his friend for January 2nd. When we arrived, the instructors told us they had no snowboard instructors available and they only had ski instructors. They also told us that they would try to squeeze us in at some point during the day. Let me be very clear, we booked online, paid for... More

Finally, after a couple of green Decembers we are getting skiwinter! Awesome start on day one although very cold, but conditions were good and the cold kept the hoards away. A great local hill with good snowmaking and grooming.

Thanks for your review, Dave. We're just as excited about this season now that we're off to a fantastic start. Here's hoping for more snow, more cold weather, and more ski days at The Peaks! More

Old. Scruffy rooms .old towels and bedding. Old furniture and 1990s tv. We left after 30m min and changing rooms. Don't bother. Not worth over $100. Highway motel standard.

The lodge was great , nice hot tub and pool. Good dining room. It was September and we were able to swim and kayak in the clean blue lake. The rooms are dated and need a fresh paint job. Dishwasher, toaster and TV needs to be replaced.

The focal point of the area is the Calabogie Peaks Resort. It is one of the only locations in the area that serve breakfast. There are scenic views of a small lake behind the resort and the lake. It has a small beach area on the lake and a small golf course.

Lots of room for campers, trailers, tents during a blues fest. Convenient to stay at Calabogie Peaks Hotel, if you don't want to camp out as it is right on site. Large washrooms in the main building for use during special events held at Calabogie Peaks.
