Didn't know that Hank Snow was from Liverpool NS - stopped by this nicely restored train station and was surprised that we were the only one there. Even if you are not a country music fan this would be worth a quick look.

Had someone asked me "Do you know where Hank Snow is from?", I would have been able to say "Nova Scotia". What town, I had no idea, so it was one of those great surprises on our recent tour when we stumbled across the Hank Snow Home Town Museum in Liverpool Nova Scotia. Our plans called for an overnight stay... More

We found this as we were driving and had to stop. We did not know that Hank Snow was from this town. The lady at the museum was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed going through the museum and learning about Hank Snow.

If you are a Country Music Fan of the old music then this is a must stop for you.it shows his rise to fame over time.We stopped here 5 years ago and had to stop and see it again. The museum is in the old railroad station which adds character to the museum.

This is a very interesting museum for Country Music lovers! There are copies i\of Hank's records, Gold records, and his clothing. As well as a few of his cars and a lot of his "younger days" history.

There is more detail in this museum than most at 3 times the size.Very neat to see all the posters including the one with Elvis. Basically 3 sections which are Hank, Nova Scotia County Music Hall of Fame and railroad history. Museum is in the restored train station. It is worth more than the very small admission charge.

My husband and I went to visit this museum two days ago and I enjoyed our visit there although the museum was a bit dark and I found it hard to see some of the items on display. One of the costumes on display had fallen down and they didn't even bother to fix it. The place could also use... More

In a restored train station - perfect for the "Movin' On" singer - visitors can experience the life surrounding one of the greatest of country singers. After all, Hank Snow sold over 70 million records in his career! Along the way, Hank helped get Elvis his start. Planning a visit? Consider the Hank Snow Tribute, Aug. 18 - 21 this... More

I'm not particularly a fan of old time country music. My wife loves it, particularly the 'Hanks"--Snow, Williams and Loughlan. This museum has something for everybody...local history, a couple of Hank's cars, great stage costumes, tributes to various Canadian country stars and more. And the young man who was running the museum on Saturday June 18th was an enthusiastic and... More
