Went here for a walk with our dog today. This is a fascinating place with various mini eco systems from grassy areas to bogs. Very informative plaques along the walk

A quick drive from Spruce Grove, we often come here to take the dog for a walk. Trails can be a bit wet or muddy in spring or after heavy rain. Stinging nettle can get overgrown in certain parts of the trail during the summer,...More

This is a great walk for anyone. The rare Orchids are beautiful, I just hope the county doesn't let any more construction around it as it really needs the bog.

There is not too much to see but it is an enjoyable walk, Dogs allowed on the path and on a leash. Hard to get to from the east as it is on the south side of 16.

It is surprising just minute into the walk the highway traffic sounds disappear. Spring is a great time to visit to see nature come alive again after the winter. But was not able to visit until now. So many beautiful native to Alberta Wildflowers. The...More

Nice area, enjoyed the walk, did find a dead animal in a carrier not very nice to find, not from the area, just visiting and was unsure whom to call.

Only about 15 minutes west of Edmonton and easy access, just off highway 16. Once you enter the small nature reserve you leave the highway noise behind. The walk is easy, partly through a farmer's field and partly through a peaceful forest. There are some...More
