You can either go left or right when first entering, as the path is basically a giant circle thats around a 15-30min walk depending on pictures, walking pace, etc. in the center is a crypt of Baron, an important figure in history for that town. It’s a beautiful short walk with wonderful different types of flowers and trees. If you’re in the area or want a simple view of nature this is a great spot to hangout and even have a small picnic.

We spent a pleasant hour or so strolling around the gardens

Whether it was too early in Spring for more of an array of planting or whether it was because it is a year in which there is a rest from planting is unclear to this reviewer. Suffice to say it must be more colourful in other seasons.

We visit this place recently. Owners did some renovations last Years. Last change is no more free parking, but parking price is reasonable. Very quite, clean and nice view spots.

Beatiful gardens & picnic areas. An interesting place to visit for all the family.
The final resting place of Baroness & Baron de Rothschild with beautiful views to the sea. A tribute to a great benefactor of Israel.
As well as the different gardens there are walking trails.
The parks is free & there's ample parking & picnic areas.
They also have an educational film about the site which has English subtitles.

A little paradise where you can also get acquainted with the history of the "Known Benefactor" the baron Edmund de Rotschild who bought so much land before Israel was created.

Free parking is plentiful. Entrance is free too. The security man at the gate asked if we had food with us. He politely said that picnicking was forbidden throughout the park. We respected this and found the park to be spotless. Even the modern toilets were immaculate. Smoking was also forbidden in the park while wearing masks was required throughout. This was all worth the effort as the park is spectacular and week days are recommended due to the huge influx of visitors on the weekend.

Ganei HaNadiv (Ramat HaNadiv) is the name of the gardens that in my opinion, are the most beautiful gardens in Israel.
Amazing, well-kept, and most spectacular gardens. The gardens are a memorial site to Baron Edmund de Rothschild and his wife, and in the center of the gardens is the tomb where their bones, which were brought to Israel in 1954, were buried. The tomb cave was hewn in the highest rocky area in the complex and around it are located stylish gardens on various topics such as: the Rose Garden, the Palm Garden, the Waterfall Garden, the Engagement garden and the most special of them all, is the Scent Garden, intended mainly for the blinds.
The gardens have an abundance of stunning vegetation, rest areas and picnic areas. Suitable for a trip with children. Spectacular views on one hand mountains in the east and on the west views to the sea.
Highly recommended for spending days and evenings. NOT 2 B MISSED.

In the neighborhood of our house, in the last 31 years, there is , what i call , "my little Tuscany" - a small natural reserve, next to the Ramat Ha'Nadiv Park ( The Baron's Park) - a memorial and leisure park of the Rothschild family , in the middle of which lays the family's grave thumb. The park and the grave is maintained by the famous family, but it's a separate subject to be written about.
Behind the park and next to some of the quarters of the town of Zichron Ya'akov, lays the natural park, i am talking about.
It is a splendid spot to take one up to a few hours of walk in nature, very close to civilization . In the last years, there have been managed biking paths too, in the convenience of the bikers .
It is about 120-170 meters above the sea level, on Mt. Carmel , in typical and pure Mediterranean landscape, with a verity of charming olive trees, bushes and plenty of wild nature colorful flowers, especially in winter and spring time. The surroundings offer an abundant fauna too.
There are a few splendid spots, observing the sea shore of the Mediterranean Sea trough the valleys, made by the winter streams or the sea, along the geologic eras.
A special human made spot, is the Vultures'sanctuary located in the heart of the reserve, where the hurt largest wild birds of the country are treated, until their recovery.
The twilight,in the sunset, is one of the best views from here, especially in winter time, while different and imaginal forms of clouds are en lighted by the orange, violet to red sun , laying down into the sea ...
This picturesque landscape, is one of the main reasons, we choose to build our house in the vicinity and we really and deeply enjoy it, almost every evening.
