We came for the wine tasting but took ROEY’s advice and let him choose for us a wonderful Merlo bottle with a cheese plater - it was the best suggestion we had in a long time. The cheese were excellent and the bread and olive oil that with it were extraordinarily. The prices are more than fair and we highly recommend this experience .

Definitely worth a visit during your trip. The personnel is very kind and the providing lots of details about the history of wine in Israel.

Prices are honest and the wine is a nice souvenir you could bring home after your vacation.

We called ahead to see if there was anyone at the winery that spoke English since we don't speak Hebrew. We were very happy to find out there was. We arrived at the winery and were greeted by a lovely lady that was originally from Scotland. She helped us with a tasting of a variety of the wines. We greatly enjoyed the personal service she gave us. We ended up buying two bottles of wine.

My husband and I came to Zichron Yaakov (Israel's Napa Valley) to visit a bunch of wineries in the area. Of all the wineries we visited, Carmel was our hands down favorite not only because of their delicious wines but because of the rich history and incredible tour led by Valerie. The winery has been operating in the same building since 1890 and currently uses a mixture of old and new technologies. We learned so much about the history of the winery, about the different types of wine and got to taste a bunch of their flagship wines. If you're coming to this area, this is a must see! Our guide gave a great tour. She was very knowledgeable about wine production. We tasted two wines in the winery and a sweet wine in the wine store. A reservation is a must.

This is a prime Israeli winery with several vineyards from Galilee to Judean Hills. As the case in Israel, their wines are premium priced, so drinking them in Israel is just fine. However, having wider choices in your home country - you normally chose the best wines for the best prices and the Israeli wines would seldom come as a price/quality choice. What is strange but dictated by the Israeli laws, the wineries are not set-up at vineyards. They must be located at some sort of industrial zones and industrial parks. For that reason, there is no charm around wineries' location. Not at all like in Italy, France, Spain, Germany, etc. Strange phenomenon. I hope this will evolve and get changed in the future.

Wonderful wine tasting and great prices for such excellent wine. Tsahi was fun and explained the wines quite well. Take the time to stop here - you won’t be disappointed.

We were given a voucher for vip wine tasting as a present. What a great experience. Valerie was our knowledgeable guide. The history of the winery is fascinating. We finished off with great cheese vegetables and wine tasting

Great and professional presentation. Good video presentation about history of wine in Israel, background on wine making process and bit of wine tasting thrown in. But not worth the 30 shekels per head. In Europe most wineries do this for free as it's a cheap marketing ploy.
