This is a beautiful cemetery dedicated to our American veterans. A note for concealed carry individuals, no firearms allowed in cemetery. Big sign on the gate.

I was curious by the story of the Thunderstorm Grave that I had to see it for myself. As I googled more about this cementery I knew I needed to see the rest of the more famous graves. Well worth it!

This is a moderate sized military cemetery. It is quite sobering to see all the rows of white markers - many of which are labeled "Unknown".

The National Cemetary is a wonderful place to pay our Respect to our Great Leaders, Soldiers, of our Nation.. Very nice and should be humbling to visit.

Seems like the lots were divided into individual family plots. Well maintained. Lots of statues. A park like setting.

Great visit to the National Cemetery! We walked through the very neat and well-kept cemetery and talked about the history Natchez. We enjoyed looking at the very old dates of the tombstones and reminiscing about the history of the area.

It is a great feeling being here. I drive through almost every time I visit Natchez, always seeing something different (as it sits on many acres). I have not done the Angels tour yet, but hear it is worth it.
