The history is amazing to learn and this location was used for the West Point scenes in the movie the North and South. If you visit you will have to figure out which part was in the movie. A must see for Patrick Swayze fans...More

This well maintained college was built in 1817 and due to lack of attendance was closed in 1964. The empty halls give you an idea of what was a great place. You can tour the buildings and grounds and a nature trail. A great place...More

The buildings are all empty so even if you could go in there's nothing to see. The brochure is very light on details & I just couldn't understand why anyone would want to go here.

It is always very calming to visit Jefferson College. Again, knowing a little bit of the history of this place before visiting makes you appreciate it much more and understand the culture of that time.

It is an old college, but it has definitely seen better days. It's a nice stop for the history, but that is honestly about it.
