It was a great time staying here. The only negative moment was wind. The day was windy, however, the ocean was magnificent as always.

First of all, the weather is a critical factor when camping here. The potential for wind, fog, rain and cold is high. However if you luck out (as I did) then you can enjoy no wind, warm weather, great views of the ocean and sunset....More

My husband managed to snag a spot at one of the cabins here. It’s barebones basic, but there’s a grill available. Wake up to quails, rabbits, and all things squirelly. Easy access to hiking all along the headlands. Be sure to visit Stinson Beach too.

We LOVE this place, though getting a reservation for a cabin is tough (they book 7 months ahead)! What you can do is rent the campsites that are perched on a gorgeous bluff, high above the beautiful Pacific Ocean! The road into there is steep...More

This is a wonderful hike. 3 hours and lots of terrain change. You are exhausted at the end and you have seen some of the most beautiful views in San Francisco.

We reserved on reserveamerica.com in advance, and should have left more time in the afternoon to arrive but were held up by traffic and missed out on most of the daylight. The next morning we woke up to see that the flowers and paths were...More

My husband thought it'd be fun to rent a cabin here for my birthday AND valentine's day a few years ago. The cons: you have to book at least 6 months ahead, so you have no idea what the weather will be like. In our...More

I have spend one night at site #5 at the campground and loved it. The weather in January has been pretty nice, no rain, just sunshine. Each campground has camping table/chairs and fire pit. The views from the sites are amazing, although the best views...More

Crashing waves on the rocks below the bluff on which your cabin--one of a dozen or so--rests, with wonderful views out to the Western horizon. No fancy frills here--single-plank walls, wooden bed for your mattress pad and sleeping bag. Rustic, for sure. But for the...More
