Playground, stream, and trails through the Redwood trees. My children loved exploring as did I. It is right next to the Mill Valley library, which is very pretty. Well worth a visit. See the Redwood trees without huge crowds. Let the kids blow some steam off from site seeing or have a picnic.

Very neat little park in the redwoods. Great place to relax. Nice play area for children. There's a couple areas where a group of people could get together.

This is a very nice park with a playground for children. It's tucked away very close to downtown Mill Valley and easy to miss. A great place to take carry out or a picnic. Love sitting among the redwoods next to a stream. The nearby library is also interesting to see.

Old Mill Park is close to the central part of town and the city library is adjacent to it. It is close to my home so my wife and I visit it often. We walk our dog there weekly. I’ve conducted a couple of weddings and one Celebration of Life event there. “In 1834, John Thomas Reed was assigned the... More

You don't have to go to Muir Woods or other tourist attractions to view the splendor of California's Redwood trees. Mill Valley has gorgeous trees in their own Old Mill Park. Enjoy walking through this park and take in a bit of history. This is the area where trees were milled in the early days of development. The old mill... More

This is a sweet little Redwood park located near the Mill Valley Library - which is a Do Not Miss Library. You will thank me for that tip

It's such a gift to have these magnificent redwoods right in town. With the rains the cascading water in the creek gives the park additional serenity, beauty and charm. Just wonderful!

This is nice but I would skip if cycling and stick on the main track along the bay front as it adds two hours onto your cycle. Otis Redding write sitting on the dock of thebay where the house boats are before.

I'm really glad this park is here. A number of young redwoods are around. But the area is kinda run down, lots of sand/dirt on the ground, likely due to foot traffic, and there is dog poop so be careful. If you are in town it's worth a stop, but if you are just going up 101 through Marin this... More

California Redwoods need to have access to coastal fog. Muir Woods is nearby but can be very busy. Old Mill Park has groves of great tall redwoods but without an admission fee and without the crowds. The area feels like a great forest but it is so close. You can easily have a picnic (and pick up food at the... More
