It's beautiful. Just watch out for odd traffic patterns. Perhaps take a Lyft and let someone else deal with the driving. Check-in with Cal-Trans. Go out to Rodeo Beach while you're there, that place is equally as incredible and you may see the Marin Mammal Center releasing

So beautiful...please go and view San Francisco the way it was meant to be seen. It is perfect day or night, I recommend finding time to see it both during the day and the night if your visit allows.

I didn’t think I would be as impressed by the Golden Gate Bridge but it truly is a spectacular sight of engineering. The view point is excellent views across the city and there is a great gift shop. It’s always very busy, and very busy with cars... so be prepared.

Golden Gate View Point offers some spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge and it’s surroundings. Certainly would very highly recommend visiting the same to any traveler, when in San Francisco.
