The Red Garter Saloon has all the potential of being a great place to relax and enjoy Keystone. The band was fun, the beer was cold but count your change. The fun stopped when we had a waitress taking the liberty of tipping herself from our change. We recovered our money and another group out in the porch caught her... More

My family was in town after visiting Mt. Rushmore, so we needed some lunch. The lines were long at some of the other places, but the saloon has a window up stairs which serves the seats on the out door balcony. I thought the lunch was a little bit expensive, but there are few choices in this small town and... More

Stopped in for a quick beer on the way through town. The décor is very cool. Just like the old west. Service was very friendly, fast and efficient. Beer selection was excellent. I enjoyed a nice local brew from the Miner Brewing company nearby in the black hills.

Excellent place to relax with a drink in Keystone. They have duo playing every night. They are very talented. We danced to the music and really enjoyed ourselves. The drinks are low priced and the wait service is excellent.

The Red Garter is divided into two areas; downstairs is more of a restaurant and dearer than upstairs, which is lower budget. However, the burgers we both ordered weren't the best. We have had better food for less money on many occasions in the United States. If you find yourself in Keystone and are looking for something cheap, this may... More

We were looking to rest and have refreshments. And we were waiting to catch the train. The guy outside hawking us in said we would be done in time for the train. It was a comedy, joking, corny, some singing and just an all around fun time. The kids liked it. Cost about $5. We made the train on time.

Stopped in for a quick bite after visiting Mount. Rushmore. Very nice decor depicting the old west. Food was a little pricey, but what do you expect in tourist season.

This place has lots of atmosphere and is super cute, but don't go here for a glass of wine. The waiters have no idea what they are serving. I asked for a suggestion for a dry wine. He handed me the menu as if I am supposed to be familiar with their stock. I ordered something that wasn't dry and... More

We love Keystone and we always stop in the Red Garter Saloon on our trips. Everyone is very friendly. We were disappointed that the show we were to see was cancelled due to lack of patronage. But, the cowboys were very nice and offered pictures and autographs for the kids present.
