Visited this place with my kids and they really enjoyed but the pool Is dirty, my daughter fell and banged her head when sliding and crying, the female life guard saw this but rather than coming to help or asking me if she’s ok she turned other way and pretending that she has not seen the incident. I’m really worried for the safety reason. Won’t be back.

Took 6 year old. She loved it, more than enough to keep her occupied for 90 minutes, good mix of high quality waves, rivers, slides, sprays and separate sections for different age groups. Obviously costs more than a standard council swimming facility but don't think it's that expensive, given that it will be heavy on power usage (water seems unnecessarily warm, from the environmental perspective) and requires a LOT of staff supervision to ensure health and safety. If one was to be picky, changing facilities are a bit cramped, and apparently the lockers (remember the number of the one you used!) quite often fail to open with the magnetic wristbands, so staff with master keys have to be summoned.

We visited as a family with two children - aged 2 and 6. Both children (plus the adults!) had a great time. I saw lots of reviews that called this place dirty - it absolutely wasn't when we were there, though perhaps a bit in need of refurbishment in places. I'm leaving this review here mainly to give clarity on the age restrictions for the flumes, as I didn't think it was clear from the website before we visited. For the Tornado, which is 2-4 people on a float, it is a straight minimum of 1.2m. Great ride, my 6 year old and I loved it. I might have screamed first time round :) The two more traditional flumes are Lightning and Thunder. To go on these alone, kids need to be 8 years old, 1.2m or over, and a competent swimmer. However, if they are over 4, they can go on one of the flumes (Lightning) with an adult. Both are fun and similar, and I can't see an obvious reason they have different riding requirements. They land next to each other in a 1m deep pool. There's a few other in-pool slides more suitable for the little ones, and the wave machine is good fun. All staff were nice and helpful, including when my key didn't work. You pay a deposit on the locker keys and we forgot to get one of the two deposits back, so remember that. My son wants to go again next weekend and for his birthday - praise indeed.

Really enjoyed our day out, price is quite expensive but you got 1 hour 30 minutes and if it was quieter you were able to stay longer. A bit dated but well maintained and could fun. Would recommend.
