Went today (13/9/24 @ 1320 hours). Online booking system is a joke. The building from the outside is get unkempt, weeds everywhere, faded and rusted paint and weeds in every gutter on the roof. Inside continued in the same manner, everything written, grubby and needing a good bit TLC. Changing area wasn’t the best. Wave machine, tipping bucket and yellow flume weren’t working. Wasn’t overcrowded and plenty life guards on duty unlike the last time the family went during the school summer holidays which was an improvement. The place really does need a cash injection and better ongoing maintenance. Certainly not a visitor attraction to be publicised as it is at the moment.

Great fun for the kids and cleaner than previous reviews so I'd suggest that it's improved. The amount of things broken however is laughable, sign saying that it's beyond their control is total rubbish also. Fixing things is well within their control. The splash area had minimal things working, wave pool closed and Lightening slide closed for 2.5 years from what I can tell from these reviews? Leaving nothing for under 6 year olds other than the lazy river. Poor signage also as the bottom of the huge staircase doesn't say you have to be 8 to go on the Thunder slide, it says 4+. Complete lack of investment from the council and will no doubt be run (further) into the ground and closed withing 12-24 months.

Kids enjoyed it well enough but we won’t be back. I found the place to be grotty and quite crowded, particularly in the showering area as people leave and enter the pool through the same narrow space. Felt I needed to take another shower once home as changing areas, showers and toilets in need of a good clean. Toilets reeked. Didn’t see anyone cleaning while we were there. Clumps of hair and wet toilet roll etc on the changing room floors, even poo!! To end on positives; some parts of the pool were closed but we had enough to do during the time we were there. Any staff we engaged with were friendly and helpful. Was so excited to take the kids but definitely will not be returning. Please give this place a deep clean then keep on top of it at regular intervals.

We visited almost 2 years ago and one of the main slides, thunder and lightning, wasn't working. Only one of the two was in use. Visited again yesterday and still the same, only one working. Which meant around a 15 / 20 minute wait to get one the slide. When you only have 90 minutes in the place it's not ideal. Also the wave machine wasn't working this time. Will be a long time until we return if we ever do.

Great place could do with a lick of paint and a scrub but kids loved it. Wave machine and the slides big hit with us all. Husband and older son loved the rubber ring flume.easy to book staff really helpful and efficient. Life guards and cameras everywhere feel very safe.

I personally thought the cleanliness or lack of it was very low standards . It looks like the place could do with a good scrub or better yet refurbishing .We were the first ones in and was shocked to see the changing rooms so dirty , thick sticky residue on the walls which clearly hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. It did not make me want to return anytime soon. Only good thing is that my daughter enjoyed herself so gave it two stars.
