The Morris County Visitor Center is located across from the Morris County Courthouse in Morristown. This center offers free guide maps of the area and numerous other tourist or history related pamphlets and information. The staff is very friendly and helpful with any questions concerning the area. I recommend stopping by if you’re unfamiliar with Morristown and Morris County area or even if you have lived here all your life and you might actually learn something different…

The range of brochures for local or county hiking, shopping, historic tourism and lots of other interests is huge. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Went to the bureau at about 10.30 on Thursday 23rd and it was closed. Useful sign on door displaying open times for Christmas week - Tuesday, open, Wednesday, open, they had missed off Thursday (obviously closed) and confirmed they would be closed on Christmas Eve which according to the tourism bureau is Friday!! Thanks! So helpful for tourists - we do exist, even in winter! …

Parking is not for the impatient. Unless you park a distance, know where this obscure little building is....you will never get in!

Hello, Just to clarify, we are a very small non-profit visitor's center that has been given free space in our County Complex and yes, parking is a struggle; however there are parking lots all around us and many people get to us since our location is so centrally located in Morristown. Hope you had a good visit though!
