My husband and I took our grandkids ages 13 and 10. We all picked a project and had great fun making it our own personal treasure. Staff is phenomenal. They demonstrated how to score and cut glass and how different types of glass will look when put together. Instructions are easy to follow. The pieces have to be fired to complete. I can't wait to pick them up next week. We will definitely go back. Great place to beat the Covid blues.

Visiting from out of town and needed an activity for the kids. The staff was great! Worked with me and help the kids when needed, which was a big help with four kids! Kits were prefect for my four year old with a little help. Plan on spending an hour to two easily.

I recently had the pleasure of going to this well run well organized workshop. The staff is amazing. They are hands on helpers and also provide individual instruction. We were able to make cuff links pix frames and a decorative mirror. We ranged in age from 70-9 and everyone had a super time

I like coming to this store. It can be a fun day with the kids to make nice keepsakes`. I do find the screens when paying asking for tipping stressful. Several levels of tipping are calculated out for you to tip (similar to restaurant tipping.). It's not that I am against all tipping, but I do not think I should tip for what seems to be an included service. If the owner wants to pay her staff less and have customers tip, I suggest that they just charge more and remove the begging for tips. The way it is, if I tip, I feel angry that I tipped for something that I think should be included and if I don't tip, I feel guilty that I did not tip and continue to debate the issue in my mind ruining my experience that I just had. Either way I loose, which means I go less often.

Thank you for taking time to write your review. The tip option is included to give you the opportunity to reward the staff for the excellent level of service that they provide. You are under no obligation to tip and a no tip button is included on the screen. We certainly don’t think bad of you if you do not include a tip and hope that you continue to visit us at the studio.

I went to glass works with my 10 year old granddaughter. We were having a day together and she loves arts and crafts. When we got there they explained the process to us and suggested we pick a project. My grand daughter chose a recipe box and then she chose a pencil holder for me to make. The projects range in price from $23 to $135. Once we selected a price we were shown to a table and then we were Given about 15 minutes of easy to follow instructions on how to design our project. They even showed my granddaughter how to cut glass. We spent an enjoyable afternoon designing and preparing our projects to be fired in their Kiln. You do have to come back in week to get the finished project. Also note that you only get basic glass for your project. They do have specialty glass items such as letters or pictures at an addional cost.

I've gone here a few times with friends, and each time we loved it. It's not often you get to make something out of glass! There are several different colors of glass you can use, and the options are limitless! The staff was always eager to help us design our projects, and always had good ideas. My only complaint is that the prices seem a little high.

I took my daughters, 6 and 10, to complete a project on a day off from school. Because it was a holiday I reserved our seats ahead of time, I recommend this, while there are many seats you never know if large parties will be taking place. In our case, the place was fully booked. Myself and my 10 year-old made our own creations while my 6 year-old made a kit they offered. It was perfect for her to put together. The staff was helpful and attentive throughout our visit, even with a full studio. We spent about two hours there and a week later we had our final products. Definitely worth a visit and we will be going back.

I came with a 5 year old and a 9 year old. Got them some $24 kits, which were easy to assemble and decorate with a little bit of glue. It took them about 30 minutes or so, working at a fairly slow pace. Bigger projects would take longer. Although they have projects for all ages, a 5 year old will still need to be supervised, as it's glass, edges can be sharp, etc. Staff were friendly, but you have to get their attention sometimes, as they might be focused on larger groups/parties. The place seems spacious, but I could see it filling up rather easily, so reservations might be a good idea (you can make them just before you leave home).

The studio was very organized, when you walk in there is a wall of projects for you to choose from. You can spend whatever amount you would like, starting around $23 and going up past $100.

The woman who worked there was very helpful, she recommended colors, shapes and different things to add to your project.

They had lots of extra things you could add to your project for embellishment.

My grown son and I spent a great afternoon playing with colored glass to create a candle holder and a plate. The staff was helpful but not intrusive. You could work at a very relaxed rate without anyone bothering you. But when I needed them, they were available and helpful with both ideas and technical support. You start with a piece of clear glass as a base and cut pieces of glass to the desired shape and size and glue them on lightly to hold in place until it is fired and melts into its final shape and condition. We did our projects primarily with the simpler glass. There is exotic (and beautiful) specialty glass available, but that is an extra cost. Projects range a lot in how complicated they are. This effects both the time and the cost. We had to run out a couple times to put more coins in the meter, as we spent almost 3 hours. Others did shorter projects. Once you have finished your project, you have to wait a week for it to get finished by being fired in the kiln.
