The farm and area is very nice. Animals are friendly, allow to cuddle them (pigs, sheep). There are at least 2 children playgrounds at the area. Scientific trail allows to go further away from crowds, learn plants. Restaurant and shop with traditional products is good. We always go there for halušky. There is enough space to sit at the restaurant's terrace, as well as to take away and sit further at the tables. You can rent the fireplace for picnik.

We´ve been visiting Biofarma quite often. It is busy on a weekend days or holidays. The parking possibilities are not so good as mentioned in other reviews. It is worth visiting especially for kids - livestock, little playgrounds, lovely nature, old bakery, hand craft stand for kids. Restaurant with traditional Slovak cuisine. Meals are very good. During busy days you have to wait at least 30-60 minutes for main course. It is otherwise really great.

We visit this bio farm which close to Bratislava during lunch. They offer traditional slovak food served in nice dishes. Farm is full of animals like cows horses, ducks, sheeps and pigs. It is ideal place for visit for families with litlle children. Farm also has their own produced cheese and milk. You can buy there home made bread. Very nice visit

Way off the beaten path (quite literally), the complex is at the end of a king I paved road and is comprised of a series of mostly traditional wooden farm buildings.

The cabbage soup (sauerkraut) was much better than expected and the dishes were traditional and tasty including the sweet and savory dumplings, pirogies, and cheeses.

Visit with my 1.5y son. He loved the place. Plenty of space, no crowded even during the weekend..which gives great feeling as farm animals are very close and not to be seen in long waiting line.

I like their kitchen. Typical slovak cuisine, goodies I love. It depends on the type of food you prefer but I believe everyone can taste great food. (Soups, main dishes, sweets)

Children have plenty of amusement besides the animals..outdoor playground, creative workshops.

I recommend this for each family with children . Not too far from Bratislava.

In June 2016 my husband's family and I visited the farm and restaurant here. It was a super hot day but we sat on the patio where there was plenty of umbrellas for shade. The five of us adults shared 2 mixed platters for two - and had plenty of food. Although we didn't need it, we also shared a couple of desserts. Although my Canadian born rating of "best halujski ever" may not count for much, all of the rest of the Slovaks agreed. High praise indeed. My only comment is the server was a little lacking in confidence, although pleasant and trying hard.

Take time to walk around the grounds, it's a lovely peaceful place. We plan on going back next time we're in Slovakia.

At the end of our stay we wanted to experience something traditional - so we chosen this farm.
The inconvenient thing is that they don't accept reservation so we had to wait around half hour to get a seat. Anyway, it wasn't to bad because there is a huge area with domestic animals, so we walked and watched cows, pigs, gooses, sheep etc.
The place is very cosy and traditional. As they say, the building is a original historical koliba (country restaurant). We had great cabbage soup and halusky (some kind of gnocchi with special sheep cheese). just the soup would be enough - it was lot of food. But the halusky was a blast! This is one of my favorite slovakian meal and here they do it very well!
There are just few really traditional farms nowadays and I understand even this place is a business, but they do it very well to make you feel like 100 years ago!

It was a good place to go when thetarted, but it is getting crowded. No more a special place to go. They offer special Slovak food, which is not bad, but too little space to sit down.
