We chose Denia so that we could go walking/hiking in the Montgo. Routes are very well signposted and they range from easy to challenging.

We went here 3 times and on the third time managed to reach the top of the mountain which afforded a fabulous view.
The downside is that there is dog poo absolutely everywhere so you have to constantly look where you are walking.
