Sitting at the foot of the Castillo De Peniscola, it's hard to miss this large and impressive monument. It's possible to get right next to it for photo moments.

Poor man. I have never seen anyone who has had so many people climbing all over him for photo shots. But it is all good fun.

After passing the House of Shells and the castle next stop is the Papa Luna monument. Lovely piece of architecture with a beautiful backdrop of the castle outer walls. Definitely worth a visit.

It was nice to see the Papa Luna monument in Peniscola, we were looking forward to that. The statue is in good shape and something nice to look at during your visit there. A tourist favorite for sure.
