The walls stand about 10 metres high and are roughly 5 metres wide enabling you to walk their entire circumference, which is about 2.5km I think. They surround the old city of Lugo which is situated atop a small hill so you've a great view...More

Simply amazing, both the walls and the city of Lugo. I have now travelled through almost the entirety of Spain and by far one of my favourite memories. The grandness of the walls is amazing, yet they are subtle. Go, and enjoy. Ensure you stay...More

I'm a passionate fan of walled cities. The walls of Lugo are wide, easy to walk and full of history. Walking on the outside of the walls includes good views of the gates.
