The Begur castle is the highest point in the town and if you visit you must make the walk up there.

... in all directions. We were staying just outside Begur and I ran up to the castle one clear morning. Views inland to the town of Pals and out to the coast in on direction and further around to the west too.

Not the first time in Begur but now, in Spring, the weather was great for a pretty heavy walk - and it was worth it! Not for the cattle itself, consisting of real ruines, but for the history and especially the breath-taking views!
A lovely slow climb up the renovated streets of Begur all reflecting the history of the Castile and how it was formed. Finally destroyed in the napoleonic wars. A very special ambience walking up to the ruins. Definitely recommend the climb.
As others have said, there isn't a lot at the top of the hill where the castle once stood. The best angle t see the castle is from the base of the hill or from Begur where it dominates. The site itself is clear but...More
