The cathedral is in good repair and is free to visit. Always nice. We spent a good half hour or more and it was easy to get around. No crowds in this one. There are a number of different alters, some very ornate, some not....More

It is nice and big outside, but nicer and bigger inside. You can take a walk and visit the different chapels, the chorus... It is really a big place. There is a fantastic mudejar piece of work at the left side of the cathedral, showing...More

Unbelievable exposition this summer through October in this Cathedral. Besides being able to see this beautiful cathedral with the famous Doncel tomb, the Cathedral hosted paintings by El Greco, original copies of Don Quijote, famous tapestries, flags from Drake and the battle of Lepanto, and...More

A good example of a Spanish Gothic cathedral, well worth a visit, made more interesting as there are bullet holes around the windows from shooting at snipers during the Civil War. When we were there there was an exhibition of Cevantes and Shakespeare.

We couldn't get full access internally as there was an exhibition being set up and some areas were cordoned off. Nevertheless, this is a fantastic building to visit and bears the scars of the many wars that have been fought around it.

Travelling in Central Spain, it is easy to get a bit punch drunk on cathedrals, as there are so many good ones. This one is no exception, and is in fact really amazing. Well worth a visit and some quiet contemplation.

I've visited many Cathedrals in Spain but this one is the tiops for me. The sheer atmosphere, amazing lighting, it is simply beautiful. Not overly large but beautiful proportions. Worth visiting Siguenza for alone. By the way the rest of the town is superb too.
