THE TOUR IN ENGLISH IS AT 1PM, TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY Rum distillery founded in 1963, by Francisco Montero. We offer guided tours through our history of sugar cane and the traditional method of elaboration of our rums. Includes sample of rums.
Was expecting a lot more from this visit. The guide was trying but there was not enough content to make it interesting. Although the barrels were stored in this building the distillery is a few miles away. The only plus point was a rum tasting...More
The door was closed and the presentation began..... we walked from one “exhibition” to the next as a group listening to a very nice informative girl who in all honesty did her best trying to make the visit sound interesting but for us it wasn’t....More
This is a very short educational tour where a guide explains the history and brief overview of how the rum is made. There is a short video. You end with a tasting. Tours are offered in English and Spanish.
Great for a quick tour.

This isn't a grand tour of a huge plant. It is very quaint and low key, but if you're interested in history you'll find this an informative and different way to spend an hour or so. The staff were really friendly and keen to share...More
