We usually go to Vera in Almeria for a week but because of Covid we cancelled it. So we decided to just drive down here for a day. Firstly, it was really easy to find. There is a car park where a shuttle takes you down to the beach; this runs from June through to the second week in September. There is a car park down at beach level but you can only access that yourself by car from Sept to June. The beach itself is a mixture of pebbles and sand and it is clean although we did see a number of cigarette ends - not great at the best of times and totally unnecessary. There are two beaches; the first one has two chiringuitos/beach bar restaurants both of which have toilets and one has showers. There is a further beach you can easily access by foot from the first beach which is completely empty of bars, etc. Back on the first beach, the two restaurants also supply sunbeds and parasols at a price per person; we were in the front line and ours cost 6€ each for the day. We met this beach by chance and it is a paradise, its landscapes, sunset and its clean water. In the restaurant you eat very well, especially black rice.

If you're offended by nudity, don't go there! If not, it is a wonderful spot. A small cove with a lovely beach, clean sea and very friendly people. The food at Chiringuito La Barraca was delicious!

Great naturist beach but mixed use. Bola restuarant is excellent and there is a great walk up the river bed and over the headland which gives great views of the coast and is pleasantly cool under the trees

The beach is about 12 miles from nerja, down a long winding road. Parking was free when we visited. The beach is not sandy, but mainly grit and stones. However the sea is very clear and loads of fish to see. The other tourists were mainly couples or small groups. It’s a nudist beach, and a natural beach, although there are two small restaurants and lunch is good. Well worth a visit. …
