Went to see the parrots and birds. First few looked ok but some of the others looked a bit stressed and not in very good condition. Don't know how much attention and handling they get but looked like they needed more. Was a bit upsetting...More

This bird sanctuary was a good visit. Plenty of exotic birds to see in big cages – all seemed to be well with them. The surprise was how large the place is with walkways beyond the first entrance and up into the hillside for some...More
Visited this park and in some ways wished I hadn’t. Attractively laid out walkways and some beautiful birds and other creatures, but many of the cages were small and bare. Very little space for these poor birds to fly about and there was a general...More
when at the coast its nice to have a walk somewhere cooler. This park is a pleasant place ( no entry fee) to take a look at nature. there are hundreds of birds of all kind plus well tendered gardens. There are plenty of local...More
An interesting parrot park with other animals as well. The Lemurs were super cute! Lovely cactus garden. Otherwise a good experience, but some of the birds looked very stressed out. The feathers were missing and they looked depressed.
Small and simple bird-based park with a variety of interesting parrots. Also has Lemurs and Meerkats plus a Cactus garden. Lots of steps - no good for pushchairs or people who struggle on their feet. Guide book and information boards in both English and Spanish....More

Visited during 2016 but wouldn't go again. Lots of birds with plucked feathers which I took as a sign of stress. A few other small animals looked fine but my lasting impression is of unhappy birds.
went there for the birds, who really are interesting (try to go in the evening, at dinner time) and found a nice bunch of lemurians and surricats
If you want to see diffrent kind of parrots, and plants here is the place. On the top is the Castle San Miguel.
