I decided to go to this museum based on what I read on trip Advisor. It was even more interesting and informative than I expected. The rooms are arranged in numerical order corresponding to the chronological history of the Baza region. The first room contains a movie in English about the history of the land around Baza through geological time periods. The best way to begin each subsequent room is to use the computer touch screen and read the information in English about the time period of the room and the contents. Then you can look at the items in the room that are nearly all translated into English. We also saw a very interesting art exhibit that was being shown until the end of April. The artist created images out of common antique items.

This museum was FASCINATING! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes cultural history. We spent almost 3 hours going through all the exhibits and they were in Spanish and English.

Relatively new museum judging by decor which is situated overlooking the Plaza Major. Takes you right back in time and explains the geography of the town and area and it's history. Some great exhibits which are very interesting. Most of displays have explanations/ descriptions in both Spanish and English.
