- ANDY KMirfield, United Kingdom2,222 contributionsA must visitThis is a lovely renovation offering a wide range of both shops and restaurants that will meet most needs. It also offers access to the Atlanta Beltline with its relaxing walks around the city and its various districts. There is also an upstairs for hot summer nights and activities with friends but there is a charge for this rooftop treat. Good bus routes if you do not want to walk from downtown.Visited May 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten November 2, 2023
- phat_dawg_21Alpharetta, Georgia16,976 contributionsFun place for all agesThis historic building dates from the 1860’s. It once served as the distribution center and retail store for the Sears & Roebuck Company. Today it holds restaurants, retail outlets, and residential units. On the roof is Skyline Park, an homage to the time when this land contained an amusement park. Today the park contains arcade games, a miniature golf course, and several carnival style rides including a large slide. The park and the restaurants offer views of the city skyline. The ground level has a large food court as well as sit down restaurants.Visited October 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten November 8, 2023
- account4funDenver, Colorado739 contributionsGreat food spotCool spot and highly recommended to make a mini food tour of your visit. so many great food stalls, so try a little from several and then browse the stores upstairs. Five daughters doughnuts is a standout and the taco restaurant has amazing steak tacos and catfish tacos.Visited November 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten November 17, 2023
- kimmysue42Minneapolis, Minnesota2,810 contributionsGreat City Spot!We walked down the Beltline on this nice October day to the Ponce City Market. Vibrant & lively with local artists selling their wares, local food choices & restaurants as well. We ate lunch at the Atrium and walked around the grounds which is an old Sears facility. A great place to meander on a Saturday.Visited December 2023Traveled with friendsWritten December 11, 2023
- Alexandria Dutcher24 contributionsMust visit! We will return to this market every single time we come to ATL and we will recommend it to everyone who says they are heading to the ATL. Such a fun place to spend a day. Give yourself a full day! You will want to eat a little lunch bite from one place and a little dinner bite from another, coffee from one place, an adult beverage from a few places, and a dessert before you go. In between all that amazing eating you get to visit hours of unique store fronts and booths with high quality finds! The atmosphere, food, and goods are all top tier.Visited December 2023Traveled with familyWritten December 18, 2023

The surrounding area is a work in progress but it's getting there. I recommend this market, great vendors inside.Visited November 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten December 19, 2023

- GdeSBrixham75 contributionsPerfect stop for food and quirky shoppingAn easy walk from our hotel (the Darwin) we had such fun walking round the shops and restaurants choosing somewhere to eat. We had great food and dropped a ton of money at Sugarboo before wandering back to our welcoming bar at the Darwin. It was busy but not overwhelming.Visited February 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten February 16, 2024

We went on a Saturday around noon and it was a mistake. We drove for 15 minutes trying to land a parking spot and then decided to pay the $10-$20 for valet. We then walked inside to a very crowded food market. We looked at all of the restaurant options but spent 20 minutes trying to find a place where three people could sit down and eat to no avail. We decided it was too much hassle for the perceived benefit and promptly left. I would not recommend and will not return.

The atmosphere wasn't a "vibe" it was very congested and loud. The lines were very long. I did not see why this was a recommendation. I had gelato which was very good. Also you have to pay for parking through the parkmobale app. The parking prices are not outrages I think it was $4-$5 for approximately 2 hours.

What a great way to spend the evening with someone you love. Lots to do on the rooftop including mini golf, arcade games, ice skating, and lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. Masks are required everywhere SO I was surprised to see a bartender making drinks without a mask anywhere on his person. Two other bartenders were making drinks beside him and wearing their masks below their nose. I pointed to my nose and he adjusted his mask BUT used his bare hands to keep the ice from overflowing in my drink. NOT cool! I hope that management does a better job on monitoring this in the future.

Downstairs is great but DO NOT go to the roof. $15 to walk around an empty, cold space with more staff than customers. Then another $15 after you get up there to play the games / mini golf etc, or head to a bar with shuffleboard so scratched it doesn’t work anymore.
I can see that if busy upstairs is fun. But charging admission today feels like a con.

Shopping and restaurants. On the roof, there is mini golf, a couple amusement rides, a restaurant, and a bar. Need to pay for admission to the roof ($15) on the first floor (outside) there is a booth. The shops are mainly outside and on the 2nd floor. I found it to be mostly gifts or home items. There were some clothes stores and other specialty stores as well. There were many restaurants mostly on the first floor. There were a lot of young adults and families there. Not as many older people. The place does get very crowded and it can be confusing to get around. There are a few nice bars that drew in some crowds as well.

I like when old buildings with character are renovated and repurposed as this one was. While Ponce City Market is like a shopping mall without the sleekness, it does have a lot of character. Unlike a traditional shopping mall, Ponce City Market has more emphasis on dining and food shops, which might be it's strength.
I've enjoyed several of the eateries in here since it opened. Botiwalla with it's Indian street food, Bellina Alimentari, a gourmet Italian market and Saint Germain with it's french pastries are a few favorites. There's a nice range of flavors here from around the globe.
Ponce has well know shops such as West Elm, J Crew and Williams-Sonoma, but it also has many lesser know shops that you won't find at the average shopping mall. Archer paper goods, Binders and Citizen Supply are a few that appeal to me.
One down side to this shopping center, is you have to pay for parking upon arrival.
For me, Ponce City Market is a more interesting dining destination, than shopping.

Our group visited the Ponce City Market seeking a ramen restaurant that caught my attention called Ton Ton, which ended up being really delicious. Before we ate, we stopped by Posman Books, a little bookstore that had a lot of familiar books with interesting covers I hadn’t seen before, along with bookish merchandise and some Studio Ghibli items. I got some notebooks I couldn’t resist but was very tempted to buy plenty of other things while browsing.
After shopping and eating, our group rested our feet in the sitting area on the third floor, which revealed the market’s railway history evidenced by the exposed train tracks along the wooden walkways.
I’d recommend a visit if you’re looking for a place to eat as there are more restaurants than shops here.

Love the views from the balcony and the ramen I had here was amazing. Prices are pretty high at Ponce, but just don't make it something the usual if you're looking to just treat yourself and not come back for a while. Food is really good and the ice cream and candy shop is always fun to look at.

We totally LOVED Ponce City Market! Not only is it a beautiful place to hang out but the market is also full of unique dining and shopping. We actually visited Ponce City Market twice during our weekend in Atlanta. The first time we were there we walked in all the stores and enjoyed an early dinner at Minero which was delicious! The second day we went, we had brunch on The Rooftop at 9 Mile Station which was excellent! Also, if you get a chance to go up to The Rooftop, please do! After 5 PM (at least on weekends, possibly all the time) its 21 and up. There are carnival games, a couple restaurants, bars, and a beer garden. Not to mention it offers beautiful views of the Atlanta Skyline. I would totally recommend Ponce City Market as a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Downtown Atlanta!

This place is amazing. Many different shops and food stalls. We loved that we each could get different types of food and everything smelled so good. This is definitely a place you can visit more than once especially to try the different food options. We did not visit The Roof area as it is a bit pricey to enter and then you have to pay for any of the games you may want to play at Skyline Park. I do wish there were more directories listed as it was confusing to know where different shops were. I only saw 1 directory.

where do you enter to do valet parking? are there loaner transport wheelchairs at the valet?
Written December 27, 2018
I never saw any valet parking neither did I see any wheelchairs. You will have to find a phone number to the market. Sorry!

I'm bringing a small church bus to the market. Where is the best place to park?
Thank you in advance.
Written January 6, 2017
There are two parking lots on site. Both are pay per hour. I did not notice if they offer bus parking. I would contact the management to inquire.
Written January 22, 2017
Adults are $10, children $7. That is for admission only. Once up there you can spend a small fortune. the carnival games range from $2 to $5 a game. The slide is only $1 but the ride that you pull yourself up, which is cute & a nice view, is $3 for about 2 minutes. Mini golf is also expensive. It's worth a visit on a nice day just for the views.
