I visited the Delta Flight Museum as part of Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day. Parking was plentiful, and most importantly, free. Since admission was free that day, I made sure to show some love to the museum shop before leaving. It's a history museum detailing Delta's...More

Delta does a good job telling their history. There are multiple planes to see. You can explore a 747 and other Delta aircraft.

I loved it. Must do for everyone but especially if you love aviation! The history is incredible! They have a huge Boeing for you to tour.

Delta has done a tremendous job in displaying the 757, MD80 and especially the 747-400 out in front. The 747 is a must, especially for aviation enthusiasts. I've never seen a full-size 747 presented and maintained so immaculately. Loved being able to walk thru a...More

Not a huge museum, but quite a bit of interesting facts about the history and founding of Delta. The 747 walkthrough is definitely the highlight of the museum, and the 767 Spirit of Delta is cool to walk around and under, as well. There are...More

I can't answer the restaurant questions, but I would allow a couple of hours. There's a lot to read and planes to visit.
