We went to Lakewood for the Panic! at the Disco and Weezer concert. I arrived after it started and was able to find parking in the free parking area (thankfully). It was a hike to the front but it was fine. I arrived later, so I was able to walk right in. The sound was awesome from everywhere in the... More

Have been to 4 concerts here. Neighborhood is shady. First time had to park far away it was terrible. Pre-paying for parking is a must. Pay extra for a seat- don't do lawn seating. Beer and food very very expensive. When both sides are open bathrooms are good. Can get bad when only one side of venue is open.

Every time I come to a concert it is always here! I never pay extra for a seat, I always select the lawn and bring my own blanket to sit on! You may not be right up close but you still have a great view and can hear whoever is playing perfectly!! I was just here for the Vans Warped... More

My favorite music venue is the PNC Amphitheatre in Charlotte, NC and I expected this one to be very similar. It is set up a lot like the one in Charlotte but the very back on the lawn is too steep (we literally slid into the people in front of us) and the acoustics are terrible. Pay the extra for... More

I had not been back to lakewood in over 10 years, But I just could not pass up a chance to see "The Cure" since pretty much every time they tour they say it's their last. However it was over 96 Degrees that day, you are no longer allowed to have an Umbrella or any kind of Tent coverage and... More

This was my night 2 of 2 of seeing The Cure. The previous night was in Charlotte, NC at a much nicer venue. Much larger, cleaner and more organized. Bathrooms were chaotic with a strange entrance and exit being in the exact same tiny doorway. Lots of toilets though so that a plus. Very small area for congregating before the... More

25 years of lusting after a band like the Cure, and I couldn't wait to make it to Aaron's Amphitheater in Atlanta! On Friday, June 24th, 2016, I made the normally 3.5-hr trek to Atlanta, from Knoxville, TN. Unfortunately for me, my car broke down and the trip ended up taking closer to 7 hours. It should go without saying,... More

I read a few reviews on this site & other sites from patrons of Aaron's Amphitheater at Lakewood. The most helpful was arrive early. I don't live in Atlanta & only my 3rd visit so was very concerned about traffic to get from my hotel downtown to the concert venue. VIP $25 parking is "worth every penny" & pre-purchase/print from... First, I want to give a shout out to Judy at Aaron's who answered a number of questions for me when I called. I went to see The Cure and I was not disappointed in the performance! As for the Amphitheater, well... having read other reviews here and calling with my own questions, I was prepared with some more realistic... More

The Cure show was fantastic, however getting in to the place was not easy- parking was crazy! Also- the website states: Coolers, Baskets, and Lawn Chairs are prohibited. Be warned back packs are as well. I had to take the contents out of my backpack & leave the backpack in the bushes! Funny thing is it was still there when... More
