Friends of ours took is here the other night. What an absolute blast! I will tell you they completely pack the house! It's is s tight space but well worth it! They play every type of music you can think of. The diversity of the people is simply great! Wonderful staff and good drinks. A must try for sure

I bravely went to Johnny's on my own during a recent trip to Atlanta and it was just so much fun! I'd read on Google that it was not just a cougar bar but I'd actually see sabre tooth tigers! That made me laugh and definitely more determined to go! In fact, Johnny's had one of the widest age ranges... More

Hard to breathe in this place. Music was okay ...strange crowd. If you aren't used to being around cigarette smoke from 30 years ago, and can't breathe being around it, this is not the place for you. After an hour there , you absolutely reek of cigarette smoke and need to wash your clothes and take a shower. Had to... More

We heard this was a fun dance place to visit while in Atlanta, Wrong!!! From the minute we walked in everyone was rude. Then they said all tables were reserved, but they could sit us in the "back:. There were tons of open tables. Then we find out that it is a smoking dance place. Ugh! Also a 2 drink... More

We were a group of 10 people on a Saturday night. Called ahead about a week in advance to reserve a table right by the dance floor. You have to arrive by 8:30 p.m. for reserved tables or they give it away. If you are celebrating a birthday, they will provide balloons free of charge and if you want to... More

I guess if you like strange men to grab you constantly this would be fun. Over crowded, smoky, dirty, overall gross. We were able to walk right in, but when we left after about an hour, I was shocked that there were people actually waiting in line to go in. I know Atlanta must have better options for nightlife than... More

How I've lived in Atlanta for 20 years and never been here is beyond me. Friend and I, on a whim, went on a Thursday night. A bit smokey but great dancing music. Interesting but fun crowd. Will definitely go back again.

Went with a group of friends. Very attentive bartenders, courteous coat check guy, and nice people. There was your usual young and wasted club goers, but most people just tended to have a good time on the dance floor or prowl around. Great music (all oldies) and was a good time.

Well it's just Atlanta. People want to seem cool, they judge how good a club is by how much the parking fee is or how much you have to pay to get in or how long you have to wait in line. Johnny's is no exception. As I pulled up in my rental car, trying to find a place to... More

One star for the awesome band (Band X) and one star for the cool, fun people who hang out there, BUT the waitstaff was ridiculously rude, and the bouncers must've thought they were securing some super classy night club when it's really nothing more than a store front in a shopping plaza. Get over yourselves, Johnny's staff, and then this... More
