Classic venue that will soon be moving to a new location. I have been to many concerts here. Most have been a very good experience, but my last one was a little rough. The show was July 5th, 2016. The building was hot to begin with, then add hundreds of sweaty metal heads packed in like sardines....... my wife, friends,... More

I have been to the Masq hundreds of times since the early 90s and I can only think of one time I had a bad experience: one August...maybe in 2010...the AC was jacked up, the ceiling fans weren't working and it was about 110 degrees in Heaven. We had to go outside to cool off, ha! Anyway, I love this... More

I have been going to the Masquerade since the '90's and love it. Seen some great bands and had some wonderful times. Went back to visit as we heard it would be shutting down. Very sad to see this landmark go.

The Masquerade is a great venue for smaller concerts/events. The event I attended was in Hell (there are three performance areas: Heaven, Purgatory and Hell). I had to walk to Hell from what seemed like a mile or more along a road that isn't as wide as I've been told but certainly as full of people (parking is brutal). It's... More

I love this little venue. it is historic and famous for local, underground and even national acts. I have been here at least 4 times, the last of which was 5/16. This concert was in their "heaven" level and it appeared that "hell" and "purgatory" were closed that night. I heard some distressing news that it was scheduled to be... More

The Masquerade is a pretty unique place. Beginning with that there are different rooms: heaven, hell and purgatory. The concert we went to was in purgatory. It was a descent sized room for a small concert and looked quite old. The power actually went completely out halfway through the show, but was fixed right away which was good! It was... More

I went to see Blind Guardian this last weekend and the place left a good impression. My first concern was about parking, but there was a huge lot with plenty of space on the back of the house for 5 bucks. Sound was good and because it is a small place, you are always close to the stage. Overall concert... More

This review is for the Moms and Dads. Took my teen daughter to see her favorite band on a Wednesday night. It was actually 5 bands and it lasted about 5.5 hours. They had removed all of the chairs based on the size of the crowd they were expecting. Could have used a place to sit but understandably the fans... More
