This museum is small, but hosts some amazing visiting collections and it has an impressive permanent collection. It's worth the visit and if you have questions about the art, the museum staff is very knowledgable and helpful. Don't overlook it because it's way back on...More

This University is a very unique place to visit. The baseball field with its seating under flags looks like something out of Harry Potter. There are beautiful buildings that make this campus truly unique. It is a nice place to stop by and see if...More

This little campus is beyond lovely. If you enjoy strolling around the halls of ivy, you simply must visit this little jewel. Allow time to enjoy the Oglethorpe Museum of Art. It's the top floor of the Library building. Always an excellent exhibit. Easily enjoyed...More

This is one of my favorite museums in Atlanta. Specializing in realistic artistic representation, this museum offers exhibits such as Audubon birds, Japanese Embroidery, offerings from Prince Charles private holdings at Highgrove...The watercolor exhibit is one of my all time favorites...I can't think of others,...More

I have to admit OUMA is part of my university, but regardless, it's a gem. Two main galleries. Three or four shows a year. Very high quality and overall, a wonderful place to visit or meet a friend.

This small jewel of a museum is tucked away in the library of Oglethorpe University campus and well worth the visit. Being small, it will only take about an hour, but provide a lifetime of great visual memory and information. Filling the void in Atlanta...More

Always have a good experience visiting the museum. It is a small museum but very well done. I am a museum member and to join is not expensive. When I last visited there was a colored pencil art exhibit which was very interesting and a...More

I'm surprised they charge $5 admission considering how small the "museum" is. And calling it a museum is pushing it because it's on the third floor of a library. I came to this because apparently they had some exhibit on Albert Einstein but all they...More

Had the exhibits as advertized but is very small and out of the way. Not really worth the effort to get there. Best part were the high school artists' works.
