Atlanta Movie Tours designed a custom private tour for our group of about 20 family members who spanned 3 generations. The tour included locations for shows like Walking Dead and Stranger Things for the younger ones, plus Baby Driver and Driving Miss Daisy for the older set. In addition we enjoyed a delicious lunch and challenging escape rooms. The entire experience took nearly 5 hours. It was absolutely top notch in all respects. As we drove from place to place our guides (Colin and Sydney) shared several entertaining stories about their stints as film extras. Both kept us informed and entertained. We arranged the tour with Anna, who cheerfully made several last minute adjustments at our request. Her flexibility and quick responses to changes could not have been better. I would recommend Atlanta Movie Tours to anyone seeking first class entertainment about TV shows and movies filmed in the Atlanta area.

My husband and I went on the walking dead tour in Atlanta February 2020. Our guide Kevin was amazing he was very knowledgeable, outgoing and fun. The tour was 3 hours long. You ride in a very comfortable bus to different places around Atlanta where the movie took place. While visiting the different areas you get to watch a short clip and see the spot your at on the movie. That was really cool to see. There are some spots of the tour that you get out the bus and walking around and take pictures, plus in 2 spots you take a group picture. I would highly recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed.

We did the stranger things tour. My hard to impress 9 year old said it was awesome. That is the best indicator. The only way to see hoppers cabin without doing the escape room. Colin knows a ton about the show and making movies too. If you are a fan of the show this is a must do when you are in Atlanta.

Went on the Zombie Tour during Dragon Con weekend. It was great; having Charlie (a former "walker" on TWD) as our tour guide was a big plus - he was informative and hilarious! Have since watched the Walking Dead DVD's all over again and seeing all the places we visited makes viewing the tv series MUCH more enjoyable! I recommend this to all my friends. Thanks Charlie and Patti!

Recently went on the Big Zombie Tour. What an experience!! This particular tour was much more enjoyable than I'd expected! The tour guide, a TWD "walker", was very energetic in sharing as much as he could without revealing to much on the upcoming season! He shared a ton of behind the scenes experiences and anecdotes. I learned tons about TWD series...and then some. There were a few surprises during the tour, which only made it that much better. Recommended for any fan and fun for ALL ages!! Don't miss this tour!!

Couldn't ask for a better experience. We were able to see where the Walking Dead show on AMC was filmed at several different locations. It is about a 3 tour and well worth it. There was a bus that brought us around the city of Atlanta and let us get out to be "walkers" and take our photos. We went down during Dragon Con and found that this was the highlight of our visit. Very fun with special guest won't ruin it but you may see the living dead...... Would recommend this tour to anyone who loves the walking dead and this tour is great for children too! Thanks Patti and Charlie We had a great time!

We had a lot of fun minus some traffic complications...but that didn't hinder our positive experience. The zombie your guide told lots of awesome stories about being on set and the sights were so cool!

I went on the Big Zombie Tours 1 (Atlanta) & 2 (Senoia) with my friend who is obsessed with The Walking Dead. Having only seen the first episode of the show, I was highly skeptical that I would enjoy myself the whole day of touring. However, I was fully captivated from start to finish!

Much of the Atlanta-portion of the tour was seen in the first episode of the series, so I actually knew what was going on. Visiting the "goat farm" (artist's corner) was an extra highlight for me being a Hunger Games fan, which also had several scenes filmed at that location! For any part of the tour where I was unfamiliar, AMT conveniently provided clips of the show throughout the bus journey so I could see/understand what everyone else already knew.

Down in the Senoia (Woodbury/Alexandria) location, I was equally enthralled! We were taken into exclusive-access areas where they filmed, including (again) a Hunger Games location. Even though I had not seen TWD episodes where these featured, it was really cool to feel that I was getting to see something most people weren't able to see/experience. Going on these tours has convinced me to start properly watching the show.

It also must be noted that the staff for both tours were amazing! Both of the guides had been Zombie extras and were able to rattle off story after story about their experiences, the process and how everything comes together to be such a successful show. Their assistants were equally as helpful in answering additional questions and providing further details when needed. The driver was also great! :)

Don't go on these trips with an empty wallet - not because of the merchandise prices (most were beyond reasonable), but because you'll want to buy out both the AMT store in Atlanta and The Woodbury Shoppe in Senoia! Going to the basement level of the Woodbury Shoppe is a must, as it houses props used in the show and a great coffeeshop (The Walking Dead Cafe, which serves Starbucks).

Overall, we both had a great day and would love to go back sometime to experience it all over again! :)

My wife, child, and I went on the walking dead tour 2 in Senoia, GA and were shocked and appalled in many ways. After reading reviews prior to going on this, I guess they (bus drivers & guides) were having a bad day. The driver trainee almost flipped the tour bus over after almost missing the first turn, parked behind trees at our first stop to see Alexandria, came within inches of hitting a car, and badly damaged the tire and rim after slamming into a curb. This all happened within the first 15 minutes of the tour. That damage didn't slow her down any, as we proceeded to go 70-75 miles an hour down the interstate just after the damage. It was enough to concern me about the safety for everyone on the bus. I HAD to bring this to their attention and the response was alarming to say the least, as they didn't think anything of it. The "tour guide" seemed to only want to tell us about how it was very cool to be in the walking dead as a zombie. That was mostly what was discussed by her. There was even a question and answer to trivia about the show. It would help to know the correct answers when administering the test. I would certainly hope that the people running this outfit would do a little bit better in preparing as it seemed like it was the first day ever doing this. I was very disappointed. Loved the locations, and everyone on the bus had a good attitude, as we were all joking about how many times out tour guide talked about herself and her friends being on the show. I hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. I only hope it was this one bad day.

You are completely right. The tour you experienced is not indicative of our standard level of service. We have offered a free return ticket to every guest who took this particular tour. Our staff met your concerns with a smile because we train them to stay calm and handle challenges with a cheerful disposition. The safety of our guests is of the utmost importance to us and the trainee driver was replaced with our regular driver after the first hour. As you might imagine, the trainee's driving rattled not only our guests, but our guide, as well. The fact that any of our guests had to endure this trainee's lack of driving skill was mortifying to us and we have insisted that our transportation provider never use a trainee for our tours again. Again, we apologize, and hope that you will allow us to make this up to you on your next visit to Atlanta. Warmest regards, Patti Davis
