Our biking tour was so fun and informative. The staff did a great job of wrangling us riders as well as any traffic we needed to navigate, informing us of rules of the road in advance and keeping us aware of the route as we road along. Our lead guide, James G, was very knowledgeable of the sites and history of the areas we toured, in particular the Sweet Auburn area. His storytelling style was personal and engaging as he kept us all entertained with fascinating historical and current tidbits about Atlanta.

One of my favorite parts was taking in the art murals along the rail yard that passes through Cabbagetown and Reynoldstown. Though I have walked the route in the past, the tour guides had all kinds of knowledge about the art work and the history of the area that was new information to me. I highly recommend their tours and I'm excited to go back and take the Atlanta’s Journey for Civil Rights tour to dive even deeper.

Thank you for this amazing and informative 5-star review! James is one of our newest guides, but as you experienced, he is not new to story-telling and engaging guests. We have found that folks who live in Atlanta are the most surprised by the information we share. We look forward to having you return for the Civil Rights tour. THAT tour will definitely have an impact on how you see the city and help you understand how different we would be as a city and a country if we didn't have the extraordinary black leadership that was born and bred in Atlanta. Again, thank you for taking the time to join us and for sharing your experience. BIKE ON! Robyn Chief Happiness Officer

We really try to start off a trip to a new city by taking a bike tour. This one was great, and Tim our guide, was very informative, giving great historical context for what we were seeing. They also accommodated a last-minute switch to an electric bike for my wife, no problem. I only wish they had a longer option, as I wanted to see more and maybe even spend some time on the Beltline. All in all a very affordable way to have a guided tour, assuming you are cool sharing the experience with others, which I see as a real benefit.

Hello and thank you for this amazing review! I'm so glad you were able to roll with Tim. He loves showing off our very cool city! Also happy that your wife was able to make the switch to an ebike. They can be real game-changers! We are adding a new tour in the spring of 2022. It will be an ebike tour and will offer a bigger footprint of the city. If you find yourself back in the ATL, please send me a note from our website and I'll extend a discount code for you to join us on the new tour. Have a great day! BIKE ON! Robyn worked with American Credit Acceptance in Spartanburg to host a unique offsite for our Leadership cohort. She was a fantastic tour guide with a quirky spirit and immense knowledge of Atlanta, black-owned businesses during the Civil War, the struggles for business owners, etc. She helped to craft a tour that honed in on some competencies we are growing in our leadership cohort. It was the most fun and we could not have asked for a better experience.

Cyndi, Thank you for this wonderful review! I love quirky!! Your customized tour was the perfect project for me. It required a diver deeper into the history of Sweet Auburn and the history of business development post-civil war. It was really my pleasure! I enjoyed meeting your team. Please thank them for being so interested in the stories selected for the tour. I'll be sure to let Ricci (WERD radio) know how much you enjoyed that segment of the experience. I look forward to working with you and Heather again. Thank you again for the generous review. Warm regards, Robyn Chief Happiness Officer

Although we have lived in the Atlanta area for 20 years we found this ride very informational. We did the Fall In Love With Atlanta ride and we had an amazing time and learned even more history about the great city of Atlanta. Walt did a fantastic job with the ride. Everything was so professional and he was very aware of all riders. I highly recommend this experience not only for people visiting the city of Atlanta but for people who have lived here because you will certainly enjoy the scenery and all of the city art at work along with interesting historical facts. It is clearly evident that Walt is very passionate about his role with this company in the city of Atlanta and you will benefit from his knowledge.

Oh my, thank you so much for your kind words! I had such a good time riding with you, and I'm really pleased that you enjoyed the day as much as I did. Tanner and I (and all of our staff) appreciate it when guests are engaged as much as y'all were during our tour. I love that you mentioned that long-time Atlanta residents get a new perspective on our city. We think a bike is a great way to see it -- we can go far enough to feel like we covered a lot of ground, while able to stop and share the stories that make Atlanta so special. Please consider joining us for another of our tour offerings; we'd love to see you again! Walt Happiness Officer

As Minnesota residents, we were brand new to Atlanta having past through several times on our way to and from Florida or through the airport. Our guides, Victoria and Robyn, did an excellent job of introducing both the history and culture of the city as visited several neighborhoods. The riding was also well coordinated by the guides holding traffic at busy corners for the 7 of us on the tour to pass. Riding included stretches of road, sidewalk and bicycle trail with only short hills. The 10 speed bikes were well maintained and comfortable. They also had a couple ebikes available (+$) for anyone needing an extra boost. Recommended for anyone wanting a intro to Atlanta with the bonus of an easy bicycle tour.

Thank you for the wonderful review! Victoria and I are so fortunate to have a beautiful city to show off and incredible history to share with our guests. Thank you for including descriptions of the kind of riding and surfaces we use while on the tour as well as giving our bikes a shout-out! All these details matter when folks are choosing a great activity in a city. Thank you again for taking time to write a great 5-Star review. We greatly appreciate it and hope you'll join us again if you find yourself in my hometown. BIKE ON! Robyn Chief Happiness Officer

This tour was one of the better ones I've taken, and I try to do a bike tour in every city I visit. Tim, the guide, was informative and had a lot of interesting anecdotes about the places we visited. The path and the neighborhoods were a nice overview of great sections of Atlanta. And I was very appreciative of the fact that Bicycle Tours of Atlanta was so flexible and accommodating. The weather was awful all week, but Robyn (the owner) worked with me to make sure that I was able to fit this in, and I'm very glad I didn't miss it.

It was obvious Robyn and crew love their city and spend a lot time researching the Civil Rights Movement in Atlanta. Their narratives are honest and interactive, encouraging questions and discussion. Highly recommend for all ages and all bicycling abilities.

Dear Ken, It was wonderful having you and Karna on the tour. Your kind words mean a great deal to me as it was clear you two are students of American Civil Rights history. I appreciate your input during the ride. Thank you for choosing to ride with us and for taking the time to write this meaningful review. Warm regards, Robyn Chief Happiness Officer

Not only did I fall in love with Atlanta, I fell in love with BIKING throughout the city to enjoy everything it has to offer. What a wonderful tour and activity - particularly in a pandemic! I felt so safe yet a part of the small group of 8 we had on our tour, and everything from the introduction and guidelines to the stops were easy to understand, well-communicated, and all out FUN! Additionally, this is a really approachable tour for people of all activity levels. While I am fairly active, I felt this is a really accessible activity even for those who are not.

Tim and Robyn, your wisdom and spirit for this is unmatched and so contagious. I look forward to bringing my family on this tour every time they’re in town to visit!

I’ve moved to Atlanta about a month ago and this tour taught me so much history of the city and state. Our guide Robyn was knowledgeable, friendly, and very personable. We now have a better understanding of the city and the movement. Definitely would recommend this tour.

My friend and I did a custom tour today that was a combination of a guided tour of Atlanta and also saw many of the TINY DOORS ATL art project landmarks which were so cool to see. Our tour guide was the company owner "Robyn" and she is wonderful - so personable and has great historical knowledge of the city. What was amazing is that I have lived in Atlanta for 35 years yet was able to see neighborhoods and historical areas close up that I have never visited. The street art and historical neighborhoods that you ride through are captivating and it really makes me realize that I need to take much more advantage of enjoying all that the city of Atlanta has to offer. We had electric bikes so the riding was a breeze which allows you to really focus on what you are seeing vs. working on climbing the next hill. On a regular bike however, the ride would be easily manageable if you do some riding on your own; there are not many hills and, if so, they are not steep. Robyn gave us an excellent tour and really created a tour that is memorable and fun. I plan to take another tour with her in the future and bring my adult kids so they can also experience these hidden gems in Atlanta.

Wow, Carrie! What a wonderful review. Thank you for the kind words. I had so much fun spending the morning with you and Donna. The tour experience for Atlanta and the metro area folks is always an eye-opener. Tourists expect to see things they have never seen or heard about, but the locals are generally more surprised because they already thought they knew Atlanta. I hope you will come back. We can definitely plan a different adventure for you and your friends. Thank you again, I really enjoyed meeting you two! BIKE ON! Robyn Chief Happiness Offiicer
