Hi Gauri, Sorry for the late response... just discovered your question. We have bikes available for kids who are at least 4'7" tall. We can also put a youngster on the back of one of the parent's bike with a tag-a-long. If your 8 year old is not 4'7" tall, then they would need to be on the tag-a-long. We have kids come out all the time. The tour content is not very interesting for kids and sometimes the attention span of a child runs low on these tours. But if your child is happy to roll and stop and you feel he/she will be content for 3 hours while rolling and stopping, he/she should be fine. None written that I know of, but do yourself a favor and spring for the few bucks and take the tour. These folks are pros with a depth of knowledge and history so far beyond anything you'd be willing to read at length in a pamphlet, assuming you could even get it all in a pamphlet. The history of the city comes alive as they point to old homes and buildings, towers, window cornice, and smoke stack remnants as they travel you back in the day telling you the story of the City, it's burning, early coca-cola, the railroad, and everything that's brought its evolution to be the city it is today, as it continues to evolve at an unprecedented pace. I've lived in ATL for over 40 years and 80%+ of what I learned on the tour was news to me. And all true.

They made special arrangements for me. I wanted a self-guided tour that was more about riding longer distances throughout the Atlanta region rather than stopping and seeing things every mile or so. I contacted them and they planned two individual day trips for me, using Ride with GPS. I was able to print cue sheets at my hotel. They made sure the ride route was safe but was also interesting. They included the cost of the trip planning with the bike rental. They delivered the bike to my hotel and even provided a little of SAG support when I had a flat. They checked in by cell phone both days to make sure I was safe. It was wonderful. They said they had not done something like before. They really wanted me to do the group tour but I wanted freedom and more long distance riding (20-30 miles a day). They have such love of their city and love of cycling. If you can get them to do this for you I highly recommend the company!!!

Hi, our tours often sell out, so the sooner you book, the better. However, you can often book the night before if there is availability. We do not roll out under rainy conditions and a refund would be provided if we cancel the tour. We might get caught in a "pop up" shower, but we would seek shelter and resume tour after it passes.

Hi, you are welcome to bring you own bike if you bring a tube and other equipment to change a flat tire and to this inside of 7-8 minutes. If you are a commuter or serious cyclists, this does not typically pose a challenge.

Kids need to be at least 10 years old and at least 4'8" tall. tours cost $59 per person.

Hi, Unfortunately, our tours are designed for adult sized people (10 years olds at least 4'8 are the smallest/youngest that typically roll on our tours). We do not equip our bikes for kiddos as young as one. So sorry! Robyn
