Think of this tour as a great overview of the BeltLine and even downtown Atlanta if you don't know that area well. A tour is the best way to get the most out of it, because otherwise the BeltLine is so huge and the number of restaurants and shops so enormous that you don't know where to start.
Nicole knows more about the BeltLine, its history, its vibe, its art, its food, than anyone. She gently moves us along at an enjoyable pace, but somehow must be managing everything behind the scenes as all the food is ready like magic when we arrive at the various restaurants.
For the food, you sample things from restaurants she has tested and curated. I have to say that each item was the best of its kind I have ever tasted--and I'm a foodie who has travelled a lot around the world. The dishes aren't fancy gastronomy, you couldn't manage that in the time allowed, but classic favorites.
I wasn't expecting the art part, I had only thought of the food, but it is beautiful and brings the BeltLine alive. Nicole has met and talked with many of the artists, and gives you the behind-the-scenes story so it makes more sense.
All in all, totally recommend this tour. Thanks Nicole!
