This stunning, porcelain-enameled building was designed by famed architect Richard Meier and is rivaled only by the art inside. Featuring American, European and African art, as well as decorative art and photography, the High Museum boasts a permanent collection of over 11,000 pieces, many of which can be viewed from different levels of the four-story, glass atrium.

I really enjoyed the High Museum. The parking was a little tricky, but we eventually found street parking for 2 hours, which was really as long as we could stay.

The architecture was impressive. Some of the art work was very interesting and other art exhibits were not for me but you could visit the museum if you have just a few hours.

As the other reviewer mentioned, there is a cafe within the HIgh, but there are also numerous restaurants in walking distance along Peachtree Road.
