It's not Central Park, but it's the best comparison I can come up with in regards to inner city parks. It is beautiful and full of trees. You have excellent view points of the skyline---both Midtown and Downtown. There is a pond with nice walking paths all the way around, and in the winter there is an ice skating rink... More

Took my niece and nephew along with our puppies to the park in the evening. Such a wonderful park in our backyard. An Atlanta gem. Can't wait to check out the screen on the green in August!

This park is big and well kept. There is a trail to walk around and exercise, a pool area, water fountains, clean restrooms and plenty of space to lay a blanket down to relax.

What I nice park!! Lots of greenery, open spaces, very nice, peaceful place. Perfect for a picnic! Nothing better than spending the 4th of July there.

We enjoyed walking around Piedmont Park for an hour or so on an April afternoon. Families with strollers, runners, couples--you name it, and they were all enjoying the sights and scenes in the park. And best of all, this attraction is free!

Back in the 70's it was the perfect cruising spot. It was much fun to ride around and see what myriad of characters were lurking about.

This park is in the heart of Midtown and is beautiful. If you find yourself in Atlanta I'd highly recommend you take a visit. If you are into running, this is a great spot for it.

The public swimming pool is wonderful for families and adults. The lifeguards are professional and friendly. When it's too hot to enjoy the free activities in the park, you can spend very little and have access to a resort-like atmosphere.
