What an oasis for a public space in the middle of the city. Many families outside enjoying this open area. Very wooded, clean, and very safe. A nice place to visit for an afternoon picnic or even a walk near the lake.

Beautiful venue. Park is huge! wear comfortable shoes or sneakers. Grounds are well kept. Not familiar with it other than for the Arts festival so I am not quite sure what it would be like when an event was not being staged there, but great place for a run or to roll in the grass and picnic.

Great place to go for a walk. We took the dog with us. There was an area being set up for a wedding in the little lake.

This lovely park is great to visit regardless of the time of year. We were lucky this time to see the Dogwood Festival which was full of gorgeous art, delicious eats and awesome people just walking around.

The Park is: public, free, clean, large -- and offers great views of midtown with access to the fabulous Beltline (southeast corner at 10th and Monroe). Walk for miles in safety, typically not crowded except warm Spring/Summer weekends.

Very green and large city park. Whatever you like to do, you can here: walk, run, cycle the many paths. Or play tennis, beachvolley or baseball in the sports oval. most weekends there is something to o, from music to artsfestival. Have a picnic in sun or shade. Have a drink in the Tavern on the corner of Monroe Dr/10th... More

Great place to run, walk, or take an outdoor fitness class. There are also multiple festivals and activities during the year to check out. Must see if you are visiting.

It's a nice enough park. Great size and in a great location by Midtown. I wish there were more spring flowers bloomed but that's on Mother Nature. They were setting up for the Dogwood festival but it wasn't intrusive.

We rented bikes at Atlanta Bike Barn near the Beltline, then rode to and around Piedmont Park. A lovely setting with lake views.
