I love East Atlanta for what it is. It's a bit grungy, like Little Five Points. It's for the young or young at heart. A decent walking neighborhood, fun shops to poke your head into, but with some sketchy characters hanging out. Low end hip - some love it! Good music scene. Good bars. Not the safest place, but OK.... More

I like the little shops they have in this area. From the coffee shop to the little boutiques and the mom/pop bookstore.

East Atlanta is the typical dirty strip of eclectic bars, cheap eats, and some live entertainment venues. Parking is difficult and the streets can be narrow in spots. Really don't feel safe in the area simply based on the crime level in the area. It can be an ok place to go in the day light, but I if you... More

There are some good restaurants and bars in the area. The Earl is an an East Atlanta Village experience and is better than you may think it would be based on the decor. Midway has one of the best patios and beer lists in town.

Went with a group after a Habitat build. Great fun dining out on a patio, then fun games of Bocce in the court right in the middle of everything. Would enjoy spending more time there

The area has so much going for it. Great neighborhoods where people are active and involved. Has a variety of small shops and good places to eat. Close to everywhere via I-20 & 75.

East Atlanta has one of the highest densities of bars and good food in all of Atlanta. Park close, the area can get a bit dodgy late at night, but it's worth it for a burger at The Earl or a pint at Midway. The Flat Iron is one of Atlanta's coolest bar spaces, and Holy Taco is racking up... More
