Visit Behind the Glass

The 40 minute tour cover all areas. But most of the stuff is behind the glass and no photos allowed. Also you get to get in to the worlds longest freestanding escalator.

Efficient 50 minute tour that gave a good overview of the history of CNN and how they operate. It really inspired me to tune in.

That's a nice 50 minutes tour. Unfortunately, most of it is behind glass and you can't see the real news room. If you don't have time for the entire tour, go directly to the gift shop. It has really good stuff.

We had to wait 40 minutes before the tour could start. The group was too large to hear and see everything in detail.

The CNN centre is an interesting visit for those who are interested in the news and all things news related - a good experience for families and those interested in reporting and television production - quiet educational for children and you can certainly spend a couple of hours here. Take the tour!

When they mention "behind the scenes of news making" they really do mean behind the scenes. The tour is mainly focused on the facilities and logistics of operating news rooms, and not about news making. The tour only covers the structure and seating of the various rooms and studios, how cameras and screens are operated, and how anchors read from... More

The CNN centre was fascinating and appealed to all of us despite our different ages and interests. It was interesting to look at how the news is produced and to look behind the scenes. It is well worth the visit.

Showing how CNN works giving you a view of what it takes to make programs get to air 24/7. Enjoyed the tour - guide was informative and happy to answer all questions. Tour takes less than an hour, not many photo opportunities but none the less enjoyable. You might even see a TV presenter or two.

The escalator going up was very impressive to my nephew. It was interesting, watching the broadcast was pretty cool and learning how the green screen worked.

CNN tour was not what i expected. They charged money i thought I was going to see actual studio and board cast room but most of it was just walking in the hallways and over looking by glass.
