50 minute tour that starts every 20 minutes - convenient and not expensive - but somewhat limited in what you see. Basically you get a look at their news room where dozens are working to develop stories. You also get a rudimentary demonstration of the use of green screens - interesting 20 years ago but its not that "amazing" these... More

Beautiful day in Atlanta...easy walk from Hyatt Regency...of course if you stay at Omni you are THERE! $15 admission tour left immediately at 11 am and we lucked out with an almost private tour of only 5 persons! Enthusiast tour guide Michele and 8 easy to manage sets of steps...not the most mind boggling program but interesting!

I like this tour a lot and learning about the history of CNN. This tour shows you behind the scenes of the anchor to the camara crews. The best part of the tour is watching command staff working live on the air. I would tour this next time with my family.

Just completed the basic tour of CNN. It was kind of interesting. There was some interesting facts and the tour guide was good. It's worth the money if you have an hour.

We got to see the CNN office from inside and the war room etc but we did not get to see any live programming. May be its just not possible but we basically saw sets or studios with no people. The tour was overall good. The tour guide explained a lot about the workings and some special effects etc. But... More

The tour itself was ok, and I understand the pain of adapting to all sorts of target groups - from small kids, to news junkies. However the focus on the American CNN could have been slightly toned down, either because the guide could have asked if there were any international visitors, or just because any group visiting would benefit from... CNN tour was very informative, secured and we got to see behind the scenes how things work. It was about 1 hour tour and no didn't get to run into Anderson Cooper too bad he works in the CNN location in new York!! Fun times!

We are TV, and news junkies. This was my first time on the tour but my kids had visited before. They loved it as much as the first time since it had changed and evolved. Lots of walking, but a great insight into the news machine of CNN.

Pros: Tour guide was very interactive Cons: Got the regular ticket and was below expectations. You practically walk outside the building looking at the glass window with the CNN studio inside while the tour guide lectures. They take a picture of you with the blue screen and overcharge you for a photo posing as an anchor, but you can practically... More
