We were in town visiting our son who is attending GaTech. We wanted to go bowling and the on-campus lanes were closed due to break. Found this place on-line and decided to give it a try. Really great place. It seems to be a family run business. Everything worked well, was clean; they have a good bar and good cafe with lots of options. We had a great time and would recommend. Bowling only that we could see; no other games or amusements. …

9 shoe rentals 2.5 hrs bowling = $171.21 Just the cost of lane & shoe rentals. That's the most expensive bowling experience ever. Reserved a lane, which was a mistake because it cost more and even at peak time on a Friday evening in winter there were PLENTY of lanes open. It's marketed as a "classic" bowling alley. Rather this is a generic bowling alley, complete with a handful of outdated video arcade games, plastic swivel seats and the display monitors on each lane that play cheesy cartoons of bowling pins and bowling balls dancing across the screen. There is nothing that sets it apart from the thousands of other bowling alleys dotting the south and midwest except perhaps the beefy security guards stationed outside the front door. So I'm still scratching my head wondering what exactly what I was paying premium price for because it wasn't the ambiance. he customer service was alright, seemed a little disorganized, but nothing to complain about tbh. The person manning the intercom was actually pretty funny, calling out parents for letting their little kids were running amuck. The chicken wings were, like the bowling, overpriced but delicious. And the beer was cold, which is credit-worthy, I guess. That $171.21 though. Even if I saw the Big Lebowski himself sipping White Russians and picking up spares alongside John Goodman and Steve Buscemi at that place I would not return. Sorry, Midtown Bowl but never again. You wanna charge upscale prices, you gotta offer upscale service which you don't. Also, wtf is up with making patrons fork-over a shoe as collateral when renting bowling shoes. That does not do much for the posh 'classic' image ya'll are charging people for. Next time, I'm gonna try the Painted Pin.…

Midtown Bowl is an excellent place for a girl's night out. It is clean and the staff was so nice. A group of us went on a girl's night out and had a blast. The food was good and the bar was a plus for those who decided their bowling score might improve with a drink or two!

We came here with two small children looking for fun on a rainy Sunday afternoon. This is one of the nicest bowling centers I have ever been to! The place wasn't overly crowded on a early Sunday afternoon and we were able to get a lane immediately. We had two small children that had never bowled before and the automatic bumpers for them were a big help. They also had the bowling frames that the children can use to help them get the balls down the alley. The seating was nice and spacious and we didn't have to worry about putting in our own info for the game. The clerk took all of our info down when we purchased our shoes and input it into the computer for us. I would definitely recommend this spot for the family during the day.…
