Beautiful long stony beach with shallow waves, boardwalk, cute bridge with wild ducks, and some great cafes and restaurants relaxing enjoying sea views at the Monte low low prices! A hidden gem about 40 minutes drive from the airport, at $5 Euro a day car...More
A busy industrial port with a growing consumer quay. Lots of small/medium pleasure craft litter the landings. We chartered a Delphin boat to go to Budva. It was a choppy ride, even though the sea was quite calm. It took too long to get there,...More
At first glance Bar Beach is a beautiful beach like any other. However the tides and depth changes and creates a new experience every time. The first early morning plunge invigorates you and makes you inspired for the day to come
The beach is nothing particularly special, but if you are in Bar it is very convenient and is nice. There are plenty of open showers near the road to rinse off after you are finished swimming/sunbathing, which I thought was a nice touch. The beach...More

The cruise ports at the other side of the harbour to the beaches and Honeysuckle Wharf. My understanding is there are buses that met the cruise ship and then from the centre of the city, it is an easy to walk to Nobby beach and then around the point to Newcastle beach. Bar beach is then further down the coast via ANZAC memorial walk. This is a fantastic walk, if you have time. To walk from the centre of the city to Bar Beach is 45 mins brisk walk via the coast line.
