é uma pequena igreja que fica mesmo no centro ao lado ja foi um hospital agora é a santa casa da mesericordia esta quase sempre fechada .

Igreja da Misericordia de Peniche

Localizada muito perto do Monumento da Rendilheira encontramos a igreja da Misericórdia construída no início do séc. XVII.Exterior bonito,mas com um interior magnífico,pena que normalmente se encontre fechada.

Uma pérola em terra de pescadores

Pequeno templo, anexo ao antigo Hospital da Misericórdia, sem aspectos relevantes pelo exterior, mas com o interior magnificamente decorado e com numerosos motivos de interesse (azulejaria policroma em paredes, tribuna de mesários e outro mobiliário, tecto em caixotões todos com telas pintadas, um túmulo, várias pinturas em tela, e estatuária sacra) a apreciar com tempo, seja na nave e capela-mor, seja na sacristia, ou ainda na galeria lateral elevada, destinada aos doentes do hospital, e salas anexas, tudo em bom estado de conservação e apresentação

A Igreja da Misericórdia de Peniche tem um serviço de voluntários que, gratuitamente, apresentam a Igreja, com detalhes muito interessantes. Fomos atendidos pela Dona Fernanda, excelente. Parabéns aos organizadores por esta iniciativa.

Une petite église sans grand attrait extérieurement mais intérieurement un enchantement ! Des peintures magnifiques pleines de couleurs , différents tableaux dépeints bref À VOIR mais attention elle n’est pas toujours ouverte au public

Exteriormente carece de obras de restauro e manutenção.
