This is a great venue for anyone who doesn't want to go all the way into DC and pay Kennedy Center prices. They get some good shows (including ones that also tour at the Kennedy Center), often for a lower price. There are plenty of good places to eat in Manassas, too, for a pre- theater meal.…

Sue and I have been here often over the years. Since we are very picky about what we go to we have never been disappointed. The venue is quite nice with plenty of parking clean everywhere, relatively new, and a great restaurant/sports bar just across the road. Seats maybe 300 so the stage seems pretty intimate.…

Last night I attended the Manassas City Schools choral event. The Hylton has comfortable seating and professional sound and lighting. All in all a nice venue to see a concert.

Last night we attended a concert by the Shanghai Opera Symphony Orchestra who played the Butterfly Lovers Concerto, the most famous Chinese concerto ever written. It was a superb concerto with Lin Y. the principal conductor and Chen Y. the violin Soloist, I learned that the Shanghai Opera Symphony Orchestra had visited the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas before last year and hence this is an event to look forward to for next year.…
