We had initially booked a minibus from this company to pick up our 8 guests travelling from Mexico for 4 days . Albert was polite courteous & professional throughout. It was then decided to book daily rides and tours with this trusted firm and Both directors and Albert responded to requests immediately. Prices were also very competitive..highly recommend Freeways 👌 5 star service..

We rented a car for 7 days, Josef the very nice and helpful Owner speaks Italian and picked us up from the hotel and took us to the venue, we stipulated the contract and took only 100€ deposit which were returned in less than 10 days. The new car, the latest model of the toyota Yaris, automatic transmission, excellent interior and exterior, clean. The delivery of the car took place in total confidence, we left the keys at the reception of our hotel and sent a video and photos to ensure that the car was delivered in excellent condition as it had been delivered to us.
Highly Recommendation and if I return to Malta I would rely 100% on them from Freeways and especially Josef.

After reading many reviews I chose this company and never regretted it. Booking was straight forward, communication excellent, pricing was clear, competitive and comprehensive. On landing I received a WhatsApp message and picture showing me the car and its location. Stephania was waiting for me outside the airport terminal and after showing me the car and completing some paperwork we were on our way. A deposit of 100 Euros was blocked on my card to cover any traffic fines and tyre damage, (to be returned within a week or two) otherwise their own insurance covers everything. The car was not new but tidy and serviceable and drove very well. Returning was easy; simply filled the tank (the car is full when you collect it) , left it in he airport carpark and sent a picture to the company showing where it was. I can highly recommend this company.

We decided to hire a car with Freeways at the last minute while on holiday in Malta and I could not be more positive about the company. Very competitive pricing and excellent customer service.
We were even able to change the vehicle that we had mid way through the holiday, not only were we not charged for this Stephania dropped the car off to us at our holiday cottage so we did not need to travel to the office.
Highly recommend, and thank you for helping to make our holiday in Malta so enjoyable.

We had a 4 day stay in Malta recently. We wanted to see the most we could in a short time, so I knew a car and driver would be the best way to travel. Josef worked so easily with me via email to put together a plan. Everything went smoothly! We made it to and from the airport, and saw all the sights we had planned, Not a single snag. I highly recommend this company and their professional drivers. Thanks again to Josef, Ian, ( who has made me a forever fan of Maltese coffee), and Albert for adding to my wonderful Malta experience.

We rented a car all week in Malta.
Stephania met us outside the terminal at the airport, smooth handover.
The car had some gel, but nothing to bother us. We rented a small car, which turned out to be practical in Malta.
We noticed that one of the dipped lights was broken, we contacted them on Whatsapp and the next day we went to their office/garage and had it replaced.
We got good instructions to leave the car in the parking lot at the airport, when we got there Stephania was already there and took care of the car right away.
Since we took full insurance as an add-on, the only deposit on the credit card was 100€ for any fines. This will be refunded a few weeks later if you have not received a fine. Now we have just returned home, so I can not yet have an opinion on how the refund works. But they give a serious and reliable impression. Many recommend them, including me.

I found some alarming practises described in reviews among Malta-based car rental firms when I was researching my trip, so was very fortunate to have found Freeways Auto Rentals, they delivered an amazing experience. On landing I received a text from Stephania telling me where to meet - right at the exit door of the airport! Check-in was five minutes. The car was not expensive, and it was clean, in good shape and drove perfectly. When dropping off, the car parks were full, and I was a little late for my plane, so another member of the amazing Borg family met me at the drop-off in front of the entrance to the airport. Check-out time? Two minutes.
I have never had such a good experience renting a car, a big thank you to the Borgs!

We rented the car from Joseph, a very correct and punctual person. he speaks Italian excellently. Car delivered very clean. I left the lights on during the stay and the battery went dead. I called Joseph and after ten minutes he came to the rescue and started the car again. All at zero cost. Highly recommended. If I were to return to Malta I would use him again.

Confermo il consiglio del altro viaggiatore, contattate Joseph e una brava persona onesta e cordiale e parla italiano, un consiglio che voglio dare e ATTENZIONE la guida al inglese che sembra facile ma non lo e Malta e molto caotica come trafficata, noi abbiamo noleggiato un auto e dopo neanche due giorni l' abbiamo riconsegnata, premetto che non sono un imbranato alla guida avendo patente di categoria superiore ai comuni mezzi di trasporto, comunque Malta e comodamente visitabile con i mezzi pubblici molto efficienti . Buone vacanze
